Good
The hotel was change. The hotel i pay for is not the they you put me.
The staff is very good, I will be back again in this hotel , when I visit Venice!
Steps away from beach, far enough away from public beach access points so crowds are low here! Staff was amazing, helpful with travel plans and even prepared tea for us before we departed at 3am or arrived super late from tourist activities. We will be back again! J&S Murray Chicago USA
We chose to stay out of the hustle of downtown Venice and stayed instead at the Lido, a neighborhood location by the beach at a short distance using the great vaporetto (water bus) system. Charming location (we were off beach season) and a wonderful way to see more than just the big sites of Venice. The staff even offered even a free bottle of Prosecco for my husband's birthday!
You will show up and get put into a horrible room with the only window facing directly onto someone elses balcony. If you want something reasonable they will want an upgrade fee. Of course these upgraded rooms aren't available on Orbutz, which poses the question, since this happens to everyone why isn't Orbutz delisting the property because they are continually trying to shield revenue from the site. The continental breakfast is aweful. We stayed for two nights and were locked out of the hotel on a Saturday night because the room key won't open the outside door. We had to wait 15 minutes while ringing a buzzer just to get in. They have no parking, and they don't own the beach so more fees will be paid should you want to bring a vehicle or access the beach the hotel sits on.... Don't say you weren't warned.
