Was by far one of the best stays i had, i had a hotel before this one which was terrible but this hotel gave me what i was looking for and it was worth the money! Service is great also, breakfast is included, wifi is also free and the hotel is located near to the centre of the islands, great for a holiday stay, i recommend this hotel!!

Very nice hotel and affordable for few days. Very friendly staff and breakfast is tasty. Hotel rooms are in old style what brings out the beauty of all trip. Bed in the room is comfortable. You can set a temperature in room as you like.

I've been there with a friend for a short trip to Venice. The room was cozy and we found everything in great condition. The staff was very helpful, they pointed us to every major location worth visited. We tasted the breakfast, the Italian food never lets you down. I will definitely return to this hotel in a future trip.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at La Forcola! I’ll address our take on the recurring themes in other reviews: - Room size: Yep, it’s small! But that’s no different than the rest of Venice/most large cities in Europe. We had a canal view room with a balcony (which definitely made the room feel bigger). It was really neat to see the boats drive past. The balcony really made our stay special! For as small as the hotel was, i would have thought that we should have been able to hear the other guests, but we never did. - Bathroom: very small, no counter space. If we had one gripe about La Forcola, this would be it. - Breakfast: We liked it! Typical European, light, continental-style breakfast of fruit, meats and cheeses, pastries (really tasty croissants), etc. - Location: Worked great for us. 5 min walk to the train station, and 15-20 minute walk to St. Mark’s Square. And it’s a really beautiful walk! The hotel itself if located on a busy street with lots of shops and restaurants, but you can easily duck down into the back streets and you’ll be amazed how quiet it gets so quickly! - Staff: Very friendly and helpful Overall, from all the research we did, we were really pleased with the hotel. It was small, and it was a bit dated, but for the price (Venice is expensive!) and the fact that we were in it for the location, rather than the room itself, we were happy! The canal view/balcony was what really set this place apart. Thank you La Forcola!

this hotel is in a great location, however that is the only good thing about it. The room was full of water stains on the walls, ceiling and lampshades. the closet smelled of mold so we didn't even unpack our suitcases. The bathroom was small. the shower and the toilet shared the same floor, so after a shower the floor was wet. And one morning we got up early to go for a walk and to our surprise and disgust the door going outside was chained closed. what if there was a fire. when we rang the bell and the main came out he said he had just chained it because he was busy in the back,

Ten minute walk from station to left and over bridge. Lovely location and historic area. Had a free upgrade and two balconies over the canal lovely huge room. Our friends had a smaller room but it was fine. Very good accommodation for the price paid very happy would return. Casino one minute across street.

The location is very good,I stayed in a single room. I guess every room has a view. Enter the room the canal to watch and very enjoyable and is highly recommended. The girl at the front desk is really cute.Around to many grocery stores and restaurants. On foot you can reach very easy.wi-fi OK, Wc is very clean.

Booked 5 nights in this hotel. Location is good. Breakfast is very basic. Female receptionist is one of the friendliest met during our trip in Italy. All male receptionists didnt seem to bother. Room was okay, furnature outdated and airconditioner didnt work that well so it was very warm in the room. Knowing its Venice and the prices are high almost everywhere you go in the city, I did not think we got value for our money at this hotel.

It is a clean hotel, but needs improvement in breakfast put up, lacks basic food items. On the positive side, great location, and very friendly staff. It is centrally located with walking distance from Venice station and is in town center.

Centric. Next to the Ponte Rialto. Neat. Reasonable price. Chemical orange juice for breakfast. Don't drink it if you want to live. Actually, don't include the breakfast in your fee and save your money.
