A great 3 night start to a 9 night stay in Italy. A very quiet little place just far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of the main drag. very clean with lots of charm and a fresh smell to the place. The staff were helpful and polite. Nice breakfasts and the room was cleaned every day.
We have returned today from three nights at this hotel. It is in a very convenient location, within easy walking distance to Rialto and St Mark's Square. We booked a classic double room and were pleased with it. No frills, but spotlessly clean, tea and coffee making facilities, and free wifi. As we spent all day every day out walking and seeing the sights, it was nice to come back to a comfortable bed and good shower. The breakfast was served between 8 and 10am, and had everything we needed, including nice fresh fruit and good coffee. The guy on reception (Andrea?) was absolutely brilliant, arranging restaurant reservations for us, and generally being very helpful. When we come back to Venice this will be our go to place to stay.
The room was clean, comfortable and in a handy area for all main atttactions. The breakfast was fine and served in a lovely room with gorgeous tables and furnishings in proper venetian style . Would definitely recommend this Hotel.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights at the start of the honeymoon. The location is so ideal! Close to everything you need, yet discreet and beautiful. We found some fabulous places for food and drink within minutes of the hotel. The staff were all so kind and accommodating. Absolutely no complaints. We really cannot complain, other than our stay was too short! We would return, for sure.
We stayed in the superior room which had a little balcony terrace, the weather was very warm so this was a lovely spot to enjoy a few evening drinks or our morning coffee. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. All the staff were friendly and helpful, we were given a map showing how to get to all the main landmarks. A Continental breakfast was served with fresh coffee between 7-10am, not a huge variety but we enjoyed it. Although it's a little walk out of the main area of San Marco (15-20 mins to St Mark's Square) it was super easy to get to. You can take the Alilaguna water bus direct from Marco Polo airport to Fondemente Nove which is 2 stops, 35-40mins, then a 5 minute walk to the hotel which we easily located with Google maps. The entrance is hidden down a small alleyway and can be easily missed but if look 1 floor up on the buildings you will see a small sign post. Although this area is listed as a quieter place to stay, there are plenty of lovely places to eat and drink close by and it's a little cheaper than the places around San Marco and the Grand canal. I would recommend this place and would definitely return should I visit venice again.
We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a 12 day holiday to Italy and it was the best place we stayed in. Tucked down a quiet side street the reception is beautiful. The staff, especially Andrea, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous with a balcony, safe, controllable air conditioning and good wifi. The bathroom was spacious and the whole place was spotlessly clean. A very nice breakfast was provided. There are several bars, restaurants and shops very close by and ST Marks square is only 15 minutes walk. Our visit here was absolutely perfect and we will definitely stay here again when we return
Very good solid 3 Star. Best to reach by Alilaguna warer bus. All instruction how to get here on hotel's web site. Friendly staff, smooth check in, spotless hotel, nice decor. Standard breakfast. The guy at the reception recommended vecia bragossa nearby to have a nice meal, not bad at all. Nice wine shop nearby to take some wine with you in a room, just opposite the coop local food shop.
So, we arrived on Thursday the 20th of July and had to walk in the burning sun for about 5 minutes over bridges and uneven pavement. However, it is safe to say it was a relief to finally find the hotel (which is situated down an alley) and be in the cool air & not in the sun. The welcome was friendly, the person on reception was helpful with any questions we had and gave us the information we needed to know about the hotel. He carried one of our cases up the several flights of stairs and then outside our door. After this, we relaxed and unpacked our cases when we were then greeted with welcome drinks, this was a nice touch. The room consisted of; one double bed, one sofa-bed, a dresser, a fridge, a wardrobe and an average sized bathroom. The AC was quite noisy as we later found out, however it was incredibly efficient and kept the room as cold as we wanted, so no real problem there. After a comfortable nights sleep we woke up and went to eat breakfast (served from 8am - 10am) which was directly outside of our room. The breakfast had a variety of choices such as; croissants, cake, cereal, cakes, fruit, ham/cheese and there was also tea & coffee on offer. Overall, it was a good experience and a nice start to the day as the person serving was friendly and helpful. After breakfast, we went out for the day and came back to a spotlessly clean room & bathroom. This hotel was nice with a typical venetian style, friendly staff and within walking distance of supermarkets, shops and landmarks. I would recommend this hotel!!
Just returned from this little gem. It's only 5 min walk from the water taxi that transfers you from the hotel (approx €25 return) I'd suggest using Google maps but it's not too difficult too find. The location is perfect, all main sights are all within walking distance, 10 min to Rialto and 20 minutes to St Marks Square. It's located on a peaceful/quiet street which is much appreciated after the hustly and bustly sightseeing of Venice. We had a room with a balcony and would nip to the Co-op round the corner for a bottle of wine before we went out in the evening. The decor is very Venetian would I loved. Theres a small continental breakfast included with the usual meat, cheese, yogurt, fruit, cereal, pastries etc. Plenty of little bars and restaurants in the area - I'd recommend Bar Puppa, Da Alvise, Bacaro Jazz all within 5-10 min walk. The staff are all lovely and very friendly. We both stated each day how glad we are that we chose Apostoli Palace. Highly recommended if staying in Venice for a few days.
Just returned from 5 nights at this beautiful hotel. It was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. We stayed in the Superior Double. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast, clean. Very warm welcome. Easy access by Water Bus from the airport. Great location with local restaurants and bars. 10 minutes walk to main sites of Venice. We really enjoyed our stay, and would certainly return .
