The staff were extremely friendly and helpful during my stay. The hotel itself was stylish especially considering how affordable it was.
I liked the proximity of the Mecure to Orly and the free shuttle bus. The room was large, the air conditioning was great, and I had a view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Everything was in great working order and I especially liked the sliding sun shades--similar to pull-down roller shades, but these moved along a track in the ceiling. Kept the summer sun out of the room.
Everything was clean and staff was very nice and helpful. Plenty of space, especially compared with the norm in Europe. Close to the airport with an easy shuttle. Also close to a bus stop to take us into Paris to the Renfert station in 45 minutes. Did not like that there were no vending machines for a drink or snacks. I had to go to a next door hotel for that. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was good but took forever. Waiter apologized but we think he forgot to turn the order in. He said he wouldn't forget and would take care of us. He didn't as they charged us the full price of the meal and even 5 euro for one liter of water. That was crazy. I was pretty upset about that but I don't know enough French to argue.
The hotel is a bit sterile and industrial in look and feel. The room was utilitarian but good size and clean. The breakfast buffet was quite good. When we had a problem, the staff stepped up and made things right. Thank you.
Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. The staff at breakfast room is not friendly at all. Convenient located near Orly airport.
