The property wasn't exactly as advertised. The mountain view they have in their picture was probably from some years ago before a large home was built there, but to be fair, you can still see some of the hills beyond that. Although the inside of the house was clean and comfortable, there are a lot of items that need to be tended to. All the screen doors that lead to the backyard, need to changed, they're all rusty and warped and dont really close smoothly and slam loudly if there is wind. One of the showers leaks a pool around the toilet. The door jam to the laundry room is completely broken so it's hard to open or lock. I did speak to them about this and they were quick to respond saying they'd send someone to fix it, if we needed. The bbq on the property is completely rusted and unusable. I get that guests should clean the mess they make, but maybe they should check the condition every once in a while. The door to one of the bedrooms is also super loud and squeeky. Most are easy fixes and with the price we paid, we kind of expected not to deal with those things. It is located near 2 entrances to Joshua Tree, which is great! Close enough to the towns of Joshua Tree and 29 Palms, so there's lots to do there as well.
