Great stay. Came here for my birthday weekend with some friends. The location, the ambience was great. Awesome cabin to get away and hangout with loved ones. The host was responsive and prompt. Will definitely be back!

I believed I was renting a luxury retreat. What we found at the property was not as described. It was located on a very busy highway that you heard all day and night. The gourmet kitchen had outdated appliances and no room for groceries. The bed linens were poor quality and the mattresses were horrible. There were no dressers or benches for luggage. The bathrooms had no fans and the master bath had a window that looked straight into the dining room. The pool, Hottub and spa were as depicted. The guesthouse was fine although the shower is in the game room. This home has the potential to be great but the furnishings and finishes are mediocre at best. The owner was very responsive and prompt to answer our questions.

Amazing family vacation with this amazing property. Everything was as described. The heated pool and hottub were great. House and game room were clean and inviting. Ivan the host was great and very responsive to any questions. 100% would visit again!

No Need to Leave

Family of 5 and my in laws with a pet stayed at this house for 5 days. We have a special needs child who loves to swim and heated pool was perfect. We ventured into town for Pizza Hut, went to sunflower fest nearby and fished at the river down the road. Set up at house was perfect because although the road is busy house is set far enough back it didn’t feel unsafe for kids. Would stay again.

Amazing gateway, lots of fun

We had freat fun here with friends. All the amenities worked well and game room had good quality options available. The weather was a bit chilly, not everyone was able to swim, but the pool and the sauna werw great. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay

Family Getaway/Get-together

We are a four-household family (grandparents, three children and their spouses, four grandchildren) that wanted a space big enough for all of us to be together while at the same time giving each household a bit of privacy. We also wanted activities to keep all four grandchildren busy as well as the ability to put all the children to bed under one roof so the adults could play games or watch movies together. Ivan's cabin getaway ticked ALL of those boxes. It was comfortable, well-equipped, well-maintained and beautiful. It's a perfect property for large families to relax and enjoy each other.

The property had all the amenities we could want! Yes, it’s on a busy road, however, that did not detract from our great experience there. It was a family vacation with 7 adults and 6 kids between 2 yrs - 7 yrs old. The pool was the big hit - great size! Can’t say enough good things about it!!😁

Exactly what we needed for a relaxing girls weekend.

My friends and I stayed at Ivans house and it was exactly as described in the listing. Each room had a full pull out bed and sheets for each. The pool, hot tub and sauna were great features. The house is right on a highway but we hardly noticed and this didnt effect our experience. Id recommend this house for anyone who just wants a great property to relax at and not need to leave for a long weekend.

We had a group of 8 adults and 4 children. we loved this vacation- we enjoyed the heated pool, the hot tub, playground and trampoline very much! We were all very comfortable and the house was stocked with mostly everything we could need. Would definitely stay again!!

It was exactly as described on VRBO. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. There was never a long delay with his response to any questions prior to or during our stay. We all just hung out, relaxed, cooked and spent time catching up. Family fun!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay with my family during holiday break. The house is great with a lot of amenities. The only negative part is the road close to the house which is very busy and noisy. Ivan was great and super quick to answer any question we had during our stay. We highly recommend this place.

Perfect cabin getaway

This property is fantastic. There are so many things to do, the pool is a great size and it’s completely fenced in which is very nice. The back yard is huge! The interior space is very cozy and woodsy. Only the guest house is dog friendly, which is important to note, but was fine for our group. The town Tunkhannock nearby is so cute and we went kayaking in the nearby river that was a blast. Also, the host is very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this property.

All You Need to Get Away

My husband, myself, and our extended family, including elderly parents and 2 dogs recently stayed at this unique property. There is a lot to explore and use outdoors. And there is plenty of comfy seating indoors for all of us to dine together or watch a movie together. My elderly parents enjoyed having their own accommodations in the guest house to have quiet away from everyone else. The kitchen is well equipped for a rental. And, if you are in need of anything , or takeout town is only 5 minutes away. The only thing that stops it from being a full 5star review is the lack of mentioning of the truck traffic noise. If you are at all disturbed by traffic noise or are looking for complete quiet - this is not for you. For everyone else this rental has it all. The owner was easy to communicate with, and the property manager too. We highly recommend this rental.

Perfect for a family getaway!

My family and I stayed here for our winter family trip. We had a very nice time, and would definitely come back again in the summer so we could utilize the pool & outdoor area. The check in was seamless, communication with the host was prompt (& very polite), and the house was accurate to the photos and description. I’ve had prior experiences where the rental didn’t live up to what was advertised, but this house exceeded our expectations. I loved the log cabin feel it provided. The kitchen was stocked with all of your necessities + more.—including plenty of coffee! :) We brought our dogs & respected the house rules of keeping them only in the guest house which I’d recommend following as they can unintentionally break or scratch things even if you keep a close eye on them! The guest house was awesome. It’s very large and perfect to hangout and play games. There are plenty of TVs & games to keep you busy if you’re stuck inside like we were due to the snow. The shower placement in the guest house is a little odd because it’s not in the actual bathroom, but it’s not a huge issue. There was plenty of wood for the fire pit/fire place. Overall, we had such a blast & would love to come back! Its perfect for a group/family getaway!
