My husband and I both loved our five day stay at Mi Amor! I was concerned that we would miss the beachfront, but we actually preferred the privacy afforded by the rocky cliffs overlooking the ocean. We loved the privacy of our room (10) and were happy we paid a little extra for the heated plunge pool. We walked the short distance to Mezzanine (sister property of Mi Amor) a few times when we wanted to be by the beach and around more people. We also spent a day at another sister property, El Pez. The staff at El Pez greeted us with waters and towels and seemed happy for us to spend hours lounging under their umbrellas. We walked miles down the beach and remarked that no other hotels seemed as nice as Mi Amor. We appreciated the advice the concierges provided us regarding other restaurants as well as a fantastic outing to ceynotes. We found the food excellent at all 4 Colibri properties and also enjoyed Chamicos and Kitchen Table, two restaurants that were recommended by the concierges. Thank you to all the kind employees of Mi Amor for making our week such a perfect experience!
