We had an amazing stay at Jashita. We stayed for 5 days in two connected room with my wife and 3 children. Our kids favorites were; the glorious pool and the Mexican Italian food fusion, the super Uber comfortable beds and the quality of the linen (OMG!), the kindness of the waiters (especially Marcelino), the attentive to detail from every staff member and the natural(yet really taken care of) gardens, the beach service and the cleanliness of them beautiful secluded (but close enough to Tulum) location. We will come back and stay here again, to continue exploring more Xenotes, likely there one pictured below.

It was our first time to Mexico and we were skeptical due to the known seaweed issue. However Jashita hotel had very little seaweed and cleaned the private beach daily. The staff were absolutely amazing, especially the staff at breakfast service. The resort hotel is boutique so it was very private and peaceful and calm. We often had the beach and pool to ourselves and it made such a difference to our experience. We also took advantage of the provided canoes and went snorkeling and swam with many beautiful fish right on our doorstep. We would also recommend paying for boat hire out to the Caribbean sea which is just on the hotels private beach. We got to swim with sting rays, barracuda, squid and thousands of fish. It was the most incredible experience ever. Its best to hire a car to get around but it's worth the fact that the hotel is away from the crowds and you really feel like you're on your very own oasis. Just simply amazing. There is also a separate adults pool and and separate kids pool. There were only a few young kids aged around 10-13ish years old and they were very well behaved. The hotel should however be more strict about adults only pool being adults only. The price of the room is on the expensive side but we felt the facilities and staff made it worth it. We would have liked hotel slippers to he provided for $700AUS a night room. Overall it was amazing and we will definitely be back here. Thanks to the wonderful team at Jashita Hotel.

My best friend and I had the opportunity to stay here on our first visit to Tulum and this place did not disappoint. Everything, from location, the appearance, our room, the staff, on-sight restaurant (owner was amazing) to the ambience of this place, was simply refreshing. Definitely will be back....

Jashita has it all - perfect beach , NO SEAWEED , beautiful spacious rooms with soft linen sheets , delicious fresh food and attentive staff. Jashita is truly an all around barefoot luxury experience. Brenda , the manager , is a huge asset to this team. Everyone is happy to work here and it shows ! It’s my second time here and will not be the last! Thank you Jashita and Tomasso for creating this beautiful property! We are so lucky to be here

This place is amazing. The water in the Bay, fish from snorkeling, and food are all top notch. Seaweed problem does not exist at Jashita. \ The food: Breakfast amazing, Lunch good, Dinner great. One suggestion, must have authentic Mexican tacos, corn tortilla, cilantro, onion, lime, meat. Steaks were very good here on the wood coal grill. Lobster was also very good. PASTA in Mexico, here is where you would want to have it. Wife and I are both Italian, my grandmother makes homemade pasta every Sunday as does my wife. This place is the real deal. Rooms here are beautiful, well thought out, and very comfortable. Would suggest a down (thicker comforter) Love the staff here.

WOW! We have just had 3 nights stay at this simply stunning and unique boutique hotel. Our only regret is that we aren't staying longer. Everything about this hotel is perfection. We had a beach front room with breathtaking views over the stunning blue ocean. The rooms are divine, the staff are so lovely and the restaurant is beautiful. The massage in the beach front shala was exceptional. Without question I would recommend this to everyone and anyone. It is not often you find a hotel as perfect as this one in every one. Don't look at another hotel, we will be back. Thank you to all the beautiful people at Jashita that make it what it is and were so beautiful to our 4 year old.

If you are looking for the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing luxurious stay then stop looking - you found it! We stayed in June in a suite as a family of 3 (son 14) and I have only good things to say. The hotel is perfectly situated (once you make it down the bumpy road) and everything is in great shape. You have direct beach access, the water is crystal clear and you can snorkel or use the Kayak or paddle anytime during the day. Riviera Maya is sometimes hit by Sargaso (a non-dangerous brown alga) that - thanks to global warming - is then sitting on the beach. But the team is working every day to make the hotel guest not recognize much of it. The rooms are modern, functional, clean and in perfect shape (not all rooms had Nespresso type coffee makers at the time we had been there so ask for it in case that is of importance to you). Our suite had a terrace with two hammocks and a private roof top. The service, the team and the cuisine are outstanding. Sitting in the restaurant right on the beach or on the roof top sipping a Margarita is exactly what you want. You are centrally located so you can do all the fun stuff like visiting Mayan sites, dive in cenotes or make a trip to Sian Ka'an nature resort. Tulum is a 10min drive with plenty of Taxis available or just rent a car like we did. There is a vibrant party and restaurant scene (in case you need that) on the beaches south of Tulum that you can hit in 20min by car. Bottom line best place we ever stayed in Yucatan/Q.Roo.

Jashita was a lovely hotel that took us in last minute. The hotel we booked had construction next store that unfortunately could not be avoided. We set out and won the lotto with this find. Upon arrival we were greeted by staff and were handled like VIP's. We were shown rooms to decide which would work best for our stay. This hotel was truly an escape from the troubles of the world. The scenery itself is divine. The service was first class and the there was no bad meal. We ate there almost every night. During the stay we snorkeled the coral reefs and kayaked with the free equipment the hotel offered. The breakfast was free and very peaceful without a rush. We had service laying by the beach and the staff was very attentive to our needs. My favorite part was the outdoor shower by the pool. They leave the best smelling toiletries to help you feel refreshed before laying out by the pool from the beach. This stay was a treat for us and we were completely spoiled by the experience. Each time we returned to our room the linens were clean and toiletries refreshed. The hotel is very clean and I was not bit by one mosquito during our stay, There is a corner store for any extra necessities. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I just returned from Jashita Hotel in Tulum, Mexico. It was our eighth trip to Jashita Hotel and the visit best ever. The staff and overall accommodations are second to none. The Jashita Hotel is a beautiful full service hotel with a wonderful restaurant, excellent food and a superb wait staff. The wonderful front door staff greets you upon arrival and you immediately feel at home. They are warm, friendly and very helpful in every way. The rooms are luxurious, spacious and completely clean (in fact maid service is twice daily). Landscaping around the Jashita grounds makes one feel like they are on a South Seas Island. We will return again this winter and we are planning another trip for next spring. Jashita is easily the best luxury resort hotel in all of the Riviera Maya. We hear stories here in the United States of crime or danger in the Riviera Maya area but my wife and I have been visiting Tulum for years and years and have never witnessed any crime in any form. The people in Tulum are kind, friendly and very warm to Americans. The feeling of safety and being secure is felt by everyone. Jashita Hotel is particularly safe while being located on beautiful Soliman Bay (about a ten minute ride from downtown Tulum. Conch Shells and small reefs are found in abundance in Soliman Bay and the on site activities are as active or as passive as you desire. We highly recommend Jashita Hotel and know you will find it as lovely, peaceful and wonderful as we do. This place is a can't miss destination resort!

In October of 2017, I did a TON of research on Tulum and the surrounding area. If you're reading this review, it's because you are like me--trying to find the BEST place in this magical town. I found that aside from being written up by Forbes Magazine as the place to stay, even the 5 star reviews posted on numerous websites underestimated what it truly is to stay here. When my husband and I visited for the first time in 2017, we didn't know what to expect. We travel all over the world staying in the most amazing places and only hoped for the same luxurious experience. I am not one for staying in or around a hotel zone, so keep in mind the hotel zone is about 20-30 mins away. But with that said, the beaches are calmer, clearer and quieter at Jashita--something we prefer and enjoy. Out of all my travels in the world, the service level at Jashita cannot compare. They staff 3 people to every 1 guest at their property so you are never without anything. Brenda, Abigail, Ulysses and Clemente welcome you and make you feel right at home from the second you enter. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, Tomasso, the first time we travelled there. His warmth and hospitality just added to the already beautiful experience we were having. There's something to be said for a place where the owners and staff truly respect one another--something you can see when you're there--the staff enjoys working there and take pride in their work--something that can only be instilled through ownership/management. The food is AMAZING--specifically the pasta because the owner is from Italy and the pastas are freshly made. But even the meats (and of course the seafood) are not to be missed. Breakfast is a multi-course meal with fresh fruits and juices, homemade croissants and a variety of hot entrees-- a great way to start the morning. I'd highly recommend the ceviche for lunch or a midday snack-- it's extremely fresh. Jashita is quiet and relaxing but activities still are plenty. Kayaks, paddle boards and snorkels are at your disposal as well as separate options you can pay for (boat rides, visiting the nearby cenotes, etc.). But I of course just love relaxing by the beach or one of their 3 pools. There's something about listening to the waves and hearing the nature around you that is so very calming. Since our October 2017 visit, we came back a few other times, the most recent time being when we bought out the property May 3 - May 6 for our wedding. I'm writing this review as a guest, but also the experience of working with Jashita to put on the best celebration of my entire life. Even though Tony (my husband) and I had travelled here quite a few times, we still were a little unsure of what to expect planning a wedding in another country. My best friend and wedding planner, Stacey Feldman (Peacock Premier Events), worked closely with Brenda and her team to deliver a 4 day, 3 night wedding celebration with the buyout of Jashita to accommodate all 50 of our guests. Everything was handled with love and care. And despite being far from home, Jashita was easy to communicate with and very accommodating with our needs over the months of planning. Our event included live music, a DJ, mariachi band, fire dancers, drummer performance, saxophone player, churro name it, we had it--and Jashita worked with Stacey to make sure everything ran smoothly. I could go on and on about Jashita and our wedding (as our friends are still talking about how much fun they had and how they loved the property). But it's something you truly need to experience for yourself. When it comes to giving a place 5 stars, it's not simply about what it looks like, but instead, what it feels like--and Jashita is well deserving of every star.
