There was one time the world cafe took a long time to seat me, when the restaurant wasn’t full and I didn’t have much time. That was my only complaint thus far, other than that, maybe more cabs should be available to get from the beach to the gym.

Rooms were clean, a little dated. Restaurants were good & staff at these restaurants were great. However our experience with the staff in the world cafe was hit & miss. The preferred club staff on the beach were amazing — saturnino, Marcos, Laura, Salvador, Guadalupe, all the staff were fabulous

The resort in general is great. The only negative issue I noticed is that for those who smoke there are only two places no very convenient. One is next to the lobby and the second one is behind the buffet restaurant and the security personnel are always asking guests to only smoke in those places. For people who smoke would be very nice to have more places close to the beach and close to the bars. Smokers are heavily discriminated. That is my opinion

The options for dining and entertainment were excellent. The staff are very friendly and ready to help with anything. There are good options for excursions but you don’t need to leave the resort to have a great time.

The place is beautiful, the staff is great but the rooms need work. Bathroom and shower doors don’t close properly. At night I can hear my neighbors entire conversation. And I don’t know what would posses a company to reuse old chips at a Buffett but it really ruined breakfast for me. I really like chilaquiles, tried a couple times in case it was a one off. Nope. Gross tasting chips that have been clearly reused day after day. I am all for not wasting food if it’s still good. The food was over all mediocre. In a place like Mexico where food is so delicious and affordable I would not do an all inclusive again. The best food we had the whole trip was on our day trip to Chichen Itza and the Senote. Then at the airport when we were leaving. Although a truly beautiful location as a Mexican/American I would not go back. This place gave slight cruise vibes where they are often trying to upsell you. Not a fan.

We upgraded to a room with a swim out pool and our whole room smelled like milldew and all our belongings smell as well. We were disappointed in the food. The best meal we had was the club sandwich from room service.

The thing i didn't like the most was they put me in a room with a dysfunctional jacuzzi, why would you put someone in a room that pays good money for something that doesn't work and try to downgrade me to something smaller??? That doesn't even make sense, before you put someone in any of these rooms, you have to make sure everything is functional...But that wasn't professional in my book

Staff is great, friendly! Amenities are nice, food is good and coffee but most of the specialty restaurants are closed. There are few wedding a day so if you are not a part of a Wedding party it could be overwhelming.

The hotel and rooms were dated, you can tell it's an older resort. The pool tiles and concrete were either breaking off or peeling. The main pool was also a little dirty. The resort could use a refresh. The food at the Buffet for Breakfast, lunch and dinner was repetitive every day, and would probably give it a 6.5/10 for the selection and quality. Staff were nice overall, but some try to take advantage and sell you overpriced premium liquor.. But I guess that's Mexico overall..

This was our first visit to Tulum and we will definitely be back! The service at this resort was 5 star (especially Alfonzo at the preferred beach), rooms beautiful and well cared for, the food/drinks were fantastic along with prompt room service on any request. We loved how secluded this resort was with miles of beaches to explore. We look forward to bringing our kids with us next trip!!!
