Cabaña romántica y privada, con desayuno en el río Rogue, a 1 hora del lago Crater

Ubicado en dos acres a lo largo de las orillas del río Rogue, el Rogue River Lodge es uno de los primeros refugios conocidos construidos en el Upper Rogue Valley que todavía existe en la actualidad. Terminada en 1937 como parte del albergue original, la cabaña ha sido restaurada para reflejar el ambiente de mediados de la década de 1930. Regrese a un momento más simple con nuestra cabaña de un dormitorio con comodidades que incluyen una cocina antigua, baño, sala de estar y puertas francesas que se abren a una espaciosa terraza, a solo unos metros del río Rogue.

Amazing stay! Every detail of the cabin was thoughtful. The kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking utensils plus coffee and half n half. We stayed for thanksgiving and I was able to bake my pie in the oven which was really helpful. The spa and sauna were the icing on the cake. The host was very quick to respond and check in was a breeze. The coolest part is there is only one cabin so you have the entire place to yourself if there are no events scheduled at the lodge. I hope to come back and stay again soon :)

The cabin was very private and everything was better than expected. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The linens were clean and the hot tub and sauna were working. The location was amazing, as advertised. Highly recommended

The location of this cabin is ideal.The deck has a lovely view of the water, and even in October we saw a few kayakers and others on the water. Loved the privacy, as well.Great visit and would consider a return, maybe in a warmer month just to get on the water, now that we know the lay of the land.

The property was next to the rogue river with a patio providing a great relaxing ambiance. The private outdoor jacuzzi was lovely. The fireplace was a real plus. This cabin was amazing! We couldn't say enough about how we enjoyed our stay. From the back deck right on the Rogue river where we enjoyed watching waterfowl, river otters, and trout swimming by. To relaxing in the hot tub after a day hiking about. It exceeded our expectations. The historic cabin is just the right size for a couple and has a great charm from the antique decor items to modern conveniences. Clean, comfortable, and private. I would 100% recommend!!

Gorgeous cozy cabin on the Rogue River. It’s about an hour from Crater Lake. Perfect location, the cabin is rustic, old fashioned and cozy. The river views are amazing. Sitting on the deck looking at the river was the most peaceful moments I have had in a long time. There is a convenient store about a mile away with a Mexican family that makes delicious burritos. I recommend and would definitely go back. I fell in love with this place.

Cute, cozy cabin right on the Rogue river. We loved having the doors/screen door in the bedroom so we could wake up to the sounds of the river. We had breakfast on the deck and watched kayakers/rafters going by both mornings we were here. It was very private and peaceful for a relaxing weekend away. We enjoyed the photos displaying the history of the cabins. Would stay here again!

This was an awesome place to stay. The picture of the river from the deck is 100% accurate. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing on the deck each morning. A couple suggestions: use fragrance free laundry soap for those of us that have sensitivities - luckily I bring my own pillow case just in case. And in the same theme, use a more subtle air freshener or none at all. We ended up moving that out of the cabin all together. Since those are personal quirks for me, they do not affect my review. We would most definately stay again.

Fantastic Getaway for any occaision

Took me and my lady and our dog here for a nice getaway from our hectic lives. This spa offers everything that you need and more if you want pristine natural beauty with all the comforts of a resort. We brought all of our own food with us to cook for dinner and breakfast and have no problem easily preparing them all, as they provide you with every cooking utensil that you could possibly need. We brought a tote of our own firewood, just in case the wood would be expensive, but they provide you with far more firewood that you would need for all trip. The hot tub and sauna were amazing After a long, hard day of hiking and fishing. And speaking of fishing, the riverside access from the cabin is perfect for lure and drift fishing. We were able to go see many beautiful places surrounding the area, including the rogue river gorge, lost creek lake, and of course the beautiful crater lake. This was a wonderful opportunity, and if able, we plan to come back up here in the summer.

Spring Getaway

We loved the location and charm of this historic cabin right in the Rogue River. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The antique fridge, stove, rock fireplace and log bed were just a few things that we loved. The hot tub and sauna were nice additions. We are looking forward to coming back.

Cabin along River

The cabin was cute. It was nice sitting outside on the rocking chairs listening to the river and watching wildlife fly by. The cabin could of been a little cleaner as there were spiderwebs with dust and dead bugs in the base of the coat rack and dead flies around the baseboard of the room with the futon. The futon was not in working order as it appears one of the hinges is not working properly. Overall the cabin was okay but we both felt is could use a little more TLC.

Beautiful property

We loved it here and hope to come back. The river is the main character and the historic cabin makes this a perfect getaway. If you don’t appreciate a little rustic charm you may not enjoy it as much as we did. There are plenty of amenities like the hot tub and sauna. We enjoyed sitting on the deck every night and watched the spawning salmon. There were many books about the area. The host checked in on us which was so nice. We loved the area and can’t wait to return.
