It's super cute, cozy and very comfortable
No ac, uncomfortable bed. Trails are not maintained and dangerous to hike.
Quaint cabins right among the trees, close to natural attractions. I would come back and stay a little longer next time. Byo foods for any allergies, milk, gluten as local reataurant did not cater to those conditons, kitchenette allowed us to self cook our own meals to help with this.
Didn’t like the fact that it was 100 degrees in the room. The preparation for the heat was insufficient. My wife (this is a stop on our honeymoon) had to sleep in our car, due to the room temperature. Very disappointed in our stay.
Beautiful setting and the only lodge in the area, but calling it a resort is a stretch! Food options are limited (and limited hours), wifi & phone signals non existent, and beware of the shared bathroom in main lodge!
The property belongs in the setting .the cabins made you feel like you are in the forest and you are away from the busy life
I did not realize at the time of booking that that shower and toilet were shared.
It is a rustic resort, if you like that setting it is super fine. If you like a modern, full convenience motel you realize how boring the city world is!
Quiet, quaint. Kitchen nice. Beds great. Needs repair in bath. More hooks for towels, painting, shower.
Beautiful clean resort. Close vicinity to Crater lake
We did not realize there were shared bathrooms, no WiFi, and no TV. It was a clean, cute room, and beautiful place.
1-entrance door to lodge slams closed wakeing me up each time it is opened. 2-sharing bathrooms and showers are not in my plans.(i did not realize this until i arrived).3-poor lighting in rooms.
Very off the grid, no room phones, limited wifi, no TVs, but charming wooded experience.
First of all, disappointed when we saw there was no private bath room in the lodge room. This was not mentioned in the booking page. We won't mind if we knew this and made the choice. Then, we checked in at a cold winter night, but we didn't see a comforter but just a blanket thinner than a towel. Excuse me? How could you treat your guests like this in a cold winter night? Staff was not there as they were off hours after 8pm. Fine, but when I dialed the phone as the only way of communication for off hour emergency, the shifter said the only solution was that he left a message and our issue could only be solved after morning. So what was the point for setting a shifter to pick the emergency call? We had to grab another thin and dirty blanket from next door (thanks to that it happened to be open). After we spent a chilling night sleep, when we talked about this to the staff member the next morning, she never seemed to feel any kind of sorry and we never heard an apology. Very disappointed.
Beautiful place to stay near crater lake. We stayed in the lodge where there is his and hers shareable shower/bathroom. They were very clean and empty most of our stay. We came late December and the snow made our stay even more special. Becky’s across the street had great food and great service. Perfect stay during our road trip to Portland.
