The hotel itself was fine. The location and hotel operations make you feel unsafe. I arrived at 6:30pm but could not even enter the hotel lobby. A guest had to come and let me in - Red Flag. They lock down the hotel after a certain hour - which is normal in a lot of areas …but 6:30pm? Why do you need to be locking it down so early?? Getting in and out of the parking lot is also a pain. I was driving a truck and you have to enter through this one small alleyway that is one way only and people are randomly parked making it hard to get through. Once finally there, you can pay to park in a parking deck which abuts the major highway and also does not feel safe. The parking deck smelled like pot. I did not feel safe coming/going from this hotel. There were limited food options in the area - and driving to get food also felt very sketch. Would definitely NOT recommend for families or women traveling alone
