If you're looking for location, fun and style, look no more. This is the only place to stay in Toronto!

Room was nice , location was close to cn tower , u do need a car , it's 45$ to park at this hotel. Very misleading on city view room. We had a view of an alley but paid for a view of the city. They offered to put us in another room. We checked it out but it was worse . They said there are only a few rooms with a proper view. Save ur money get a cheaper room and just go to the roof top bar. View there was perfect. Or stay at a cheaper hotel n go for drinks here.

Thompson Toronto was above expectations! The front staff were more than accommodating with great recommendations for food and sightseeing. The room was modern, clean and comfortable and the views from the rooftop bar were spectacular! The only downfall was they do not have a liquor license for the pool area nor can you bring your drinks from the rooftop bar to your room. Unbeknownst to us, the Toronto film festival was in town that week and as busy and chaotic as the hotel became with non hotel guests using the rooftop bar and nightclub, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure the hotels guests felt accommodated. I will definitely stay at the Thompson Toronto when we return.

Great location ... Staff needs to work on their communication skills

Very modern& clean! Second time staying at this hotel. Love the rooftop lounge and pool nothing like it!

Best place to stay in Toronto. Will return again in the future

The location if the hotels was prime for me, and love the fact thatchers was a 24hour diner attached!

My wife and I booked into the Thompson hotel for our wedding weekend. She used the room to get ready before the ceremony and we spent our first night together as a married couple there. Our stay was fantastic. Beautiful hotel in a great location, it couldn't have been more perfect for us. Thank you!

It was nice and relaxing. Right in the city. It was easy to walk to resturants and different events they had there in august. The rooms were very clean and nice.

Very modern, clean and sleek hotel. A little bit out of the way but still enjoyed my stay very much.

Always a great experience. Very swanky property. Love the review from the rooftop.

The Thompson hotel in Toronto is located in a very convenient spot with easy access to the CN tower, the Rogers Center, night life, restaurants, and the waterfront. I would recommend this hotel in the future.

All of the hotel staff that we spoke to were very friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in Toronto. The weather was very nice during the time of our stay so we walked everywhere. There are many local places to eat nearby and there is just about any type of food you can imagine. We ate breakfast in the hotel diner each morning and the food there was very good. The waffles are amazing! Valet parking will run you about $38 per day. There is self-parking available as well. The roof top pool and bar is a must see. Nice atmosphere and an excellent view of the city. You need a valid room key to gain access to any floor so having that little bit of extra security was nice. We will definitely stay here again.

loved the thompson - would DEF stay there again...so hip/posh ...you don't have to leave your hotel to have a good time..rooftop is ridiculously fun.

Great location, lots of great restaurants nearby. Book it once a year for our anniversary, as a time away from home. Only downside this time around was that pool was closed for most of my stay since the patio was reserved that night for wedding. The staff did all they could to compensate me for the stay, but since I had prepaid there wasn't anything they could do for that stay, but promised to make it up to me on my next. Looking forward to next years stay.

Very nice hotel and a great value for money. The included breakfast was really delicious. Cool property and definitely a place to be in the Toronto scene. Property was very clean and modern. The rooms are big and have great views of the Toronto skyline. All of the front desk and diner staff were really great. The dissapointing part of our stay was the treatment from the bouncers. As paying hotel guests, you expect to have a reasonable level of access to the property and amenities you are paying for. On both nights of our stay, the rooftop pool area was rented out for private events. We were rudely asked to leave the area by a bouncer and he wouldnt even allow my wife to take a picture of the skyline from the elevator doorway. Not a nice feeling to be bounced out of the pool terrace at your hotel at 7PM for taking a photo. Definitely not the type of person that I expect to be employed by Thompson based on my stays at the NYC properties. Very dissapointing.

Perfect hotel in perfect location, has great resto on premises. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. Lobby bar is great place to have a drink and spend the evening.

Stayed at the Thompson last weekend with my girlfriend. We had the King Superior suite and we were very impressed. Luxurious suite with ample room to entertain a small group of friends. Friendly, professional staff and complimentary shoeshine! Recommend strongly!

Pros: Nice bar and entrance experience, comfy bed, like the heated floors in the bathrooms, staff are helpful, if understaffed at night. Cons: Diner food not great, no rooftop pool in the winter, rooftop lounge was closed both nights we stayed, keycard access annoyances, wasn't able to get into gym.

Best hotel in Toronto. Hands down. Rooftop view is the best in the city.
