Bass rumbling 3rd floor. Club in basement causing us to be up till 3am. Hotel is beautiful, we were intrigued by the rooftop pool. The pool was amazing. Hotel room was automated and clean. Hotel not recommended for a couple trying to enjoy an anniversary, unless you are partaking in the clubbing on the roof or basement. We were comped our stay because of the bass. I'm assuming the squeaky wheel gets the grease and if customers don't say anything they don't fix the problem. The staff was very nice! Offered me a second night anytime I want. I'm disappointed because it was our 16th wedding anniversary and I wanted the night perfect.

Wonderfully engaging staff. Clean and well appointed rooms.

Connected to three restaurants and a nightclub, as well as a rooftop bar, this centrally located hotel is perfect for any adults visiting Toronto!

Stayed here a few times years ago and it was the place to be. Staff and layout are good but the hotel is run down. Old furniture that is worn and out dated. My room needed a paint job, many chips. Furniture was stained and faded from the sun. To bad it used to be a fun swanky hotel in its time.

Very nice hotel staff super friendly and informative. Room was comfortable clean and quiet. Nice location but parking may be an issue if you rent a car.

Hotel management needs to train its staff. The Lady in lobby had no idea what platinum member or VIP hotel are. I asked her if they have available room to upgrade, get an answer as "nothing but a suit is available for extra $500". I said that I am platinum member of Orbitz and the hotel has VIP status so I requested to have an upgrade for free. She didn't believe me even though I showed her on Orbitz website. I asked her to call her manager, but she said "the manager is not in the hotel and I cannot call nobody, so I am the boss, if you want, I can cancel your reservation and you can find another hotel for yourself". I already made the payment and I cannot wait for the refund and I was too tored after the long flight. She threatened me for calling security to banish me from the hotel. I told her to do it if she wish. Security came and I told them if they touch me I will call the police right away. She went her office and probably made a search and came up with "okay yes we can do upgrade" but all of sudden she found a king room and gave me that room even though at the beginning she said that the hotel is fully booked and no another room for upgrading except the suit. She took my 45 minutes in the check in counter. When I went my "upgraded room", it was disappointing. The room was too dark and the glass was frozen, so not really possible to see outside. Rooftop view is good but for the rooftop you don't need to stay in this hotel, you can still go to rooftop as visitor.

If you're looking for location, fun and style, look no more. This is the only place to stay in Toronto!

Room was nice , location was close to cn tower , u do need a car , it's 45$ to park at this hotel. Very misleading on city view room. We had a view of an alley but paid for a view of the city. They offered to put us in another room. We checked it out but it was worse . They said there are only a few rooms with a proper view. Save ur money get a cheaper room and just go to the roof top bar. View there was perfect. Or stay at a cheaper hotel n go for drinks here.

Thompson Toronto was above expectations! The front staff were more than accommodating with great recommendations for food and sightseeing. The room was modern, clean and comfortable and the views from the rooftop bar were spectacular! The only downfall was they do not have a liquor license for the pool area nor can you bring your drinks from the rooftop bar to your room. Unbeknownst to us, the Toronto film festival was in town that week and as busy and chaotic as the hotel became with non hotel guests using the rooftop bar and nightclub, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure the hotels guests felt accommodated. I will definitely stay at the Thompson Toronto when we return.

Great location ... Staff needs to work on their communication skills

Very modern& clean! Second time staying at this hotel. Love the rooftop lounge and pool nothing like it!

Best place to stay in Toronto. Will return again in the future

The location if the hotels was prime for me, and love the fact thatchers was a 24hour diner attached!

My wife and I booked into the Thompson hotel for our wedding weekend. She used the room to get ready before the ceremony and we spent our first night together as a married couple there. Our stay was fantastic. Beautiful hotel in a great location, it couldn't have been more perfect for us. Thank you!

It was nice and relaxing. Right in the city. It was easy to walk to resturants and different events they had there in august. The rooms were very clean and nice.

Very modern, clean and sleek hotel. A little bit out of the way but still enjoyed my stay very much.

Always a great experience. Very swanky property. Love the review from the rooftop.

The Thompson hotel in Toronto is located in a very convenient spot with easy access to the CN tower, the Rogers Center, night life, restaurants, and the waterfront. I would recommend this hotel in the future.
