Everything was excellent. Only issue was the temperature of the room. It was too warm despite adjusting the thermostat to the lowest possible setting. To be perfectly fair, I didn't report this issue to the hotel staff.

We were lucky enough to get a corner room with a great view of cn tower out one window and union station out the other.

Nice hotel, easy to find. It’s right across the street from Union Station and also a part of the PATH. However would appreciate if they provided more travel essentials.

Perfect location and cleanliness, calmed and quiet. Checking in was a little disappointing as I had to wait about 30 minutes at 1 am, as there was an issue with the guests in front of me which was still being resolved as it was my turn. Overall good experience, beautiful hotel but did not seem to be worth the price.

was great. like something out of a Wes Anderson film. Everything was perfectly composed. Friendly staff, great location and shops inside the hotel.

This hotel was the ideal location; accessible to all downtown activities. Friendly, helpful staff; comfortable accommodations. Recommend staying there.

Great hotel at the heart of the city. Room service is extremely quick and friendly.

If you’re flying in to Toronto’s Pearson airport, don’t hail a cab but rather take the UP Express train. The last stop is Union Station which is literally across from the Royal York. Head to the revolving doors of the hotel and let the great doormen and staff launch your great stay! Somewhat akin to a stay at the Waldorf in NYC.

Staff were very Friendly and accommodating. Great hotel, perfect location and great on site restaurants.

Great stay. Very well located and accessible to a lot of activities.

This was our second time staying at the Royal York. The first time was about 20 years ago. It was spectacular then, it is even more spectacular now. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms which was both contemporary and comfortable. Every area of the hotel was well maintained and clean. The staff was outstanding and very accommodating. We even requested a room change for one with more of a view and the Front Desk did it without hesitation. The Concierge were spot on with their restaurant recommendations. The hotel’s location is perfect for getting anywhere quickly and easily. Transit and underground pedestrian concourses made it simple to get everywhere regardless of the weather. This is a hotel that I would recommend over and over again.

Long wait for check in. Be prepared to wait over one hour for room service. Rusty stains in the shower and poorly functioning elevators. : (

Incredible old railroad hotel perfectly located in Downtown Toronto. Very close to Air Canada Centre and across the street from Union Station. Excellent restaurants and night life nearby.

Great hotel would stay there again ,.....".....................

Staff was very well versed in customer service. Gym could be a little better for strength training.

We checked in here for the weekend and the staff were so nice and helpful. Rooms are a bit small but still very nice. Housekeeper and turn down service was great.

The good old Royal York, always there, always just right. Convenient to Union Station (right across the street), a short walk to shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. if you’re mobility impaired, you might want to ask in advance about accessibility – there are lots of stairs at all entrances.

Nothing at all to complain about – excellent room, excellent service. I’ll stay here again and again.

The hotel is located in the Toronto transportation center, the Union. There are direct train to Pearson airport and subways to everywhere. You could access the Union station via hotel's underground pathway which also could take you to underground shopping mall and food court. Best of the best!

Well staffed. Courteous employees. Clean rooms.Helpful assistants.
