Lot of construction. Small room. Convenient location. Library bar cool, but pricey. Workout room and pool nice.

It's a gorgeous, classy and classic hotel, in a great location. The pool and sauna are wonderful. The room was spacious and beautiful, and the beds comfortable. The staff was pretty responsive when we let them know our first room smelled strongly of cigarettes (non-smoking hotel, but there was a party in the next room). After having told us they could not move us because the hotel was fully booked, they quickly moved us due to the smoke. There was a noise issue on our new floor, also, because there was a social gathering next door, and the walls are thin. Overall it was a nice stay. Cafe Landwer nearby has a wonderful brunch.

Beautiful hotel; can't wait to see what the new lobby looks like. Slight inconvenience with the construction but it wasn't disruptive in any way to my stay.

I loved it so much that I intend to return there for a longer spell.

Amazing! Great location and amenities! Easy to get to and from, near the underground PATH.

The staff is completely professional and ensured that my needs were met every step of the way. So friendly and courteous! I will be choosing this hotel for all my visits to Toronto. The decor is fabulous and luxe! And Le Labo products? I actually know the person who created this line, Fabrice Penot, and was quite delighted to see that his products were chosen for this beautiful hotel.

Everything was excellent. Only issue was the temperature of the room. It was too warm despite adjusting the thermostat to the lowest possible setting. To be perfectly fair, I didn't report this issue to the hotel staff.

We were lucky enough to get a corner room with a great view of cn tower out one window and union station out the other.

Nice hotel, easy to find. It’s right across the street from Union Station and also a part of the PATH. However would appreciate if they provided more travel essentials.

was great. like something out of a Wes Anderson film. Everything was perfectly composed. Friendly staff, great location and shops inside the hotel.

This hotel was the ideal location; accessible to all downtown activities. Friendly, helpful staff; comfortable accommodations. Recommend staying there.

Great hotel at the heart of the city. Room service is extremely quick and friendly.

If you’re flying in to Toronto’s Pearson airport, don’t hail a cab but rather take the UP Express train. The last stop is Union Station which is literally across from the Royal York. Head to the revolving doors of the hotel and let the great doormen and staff launch your great stay! Somewhat akin to a stay at the Waldorf in NYC.

Staff were very Friendly and accommodating. Great hotel, perfect location and great on site restaurants.

We were in one of the luxury rooms however it was noisy and sound like planes were taking off in the distance. It was probably the old heating and ventilation system in the hotel. The bed was not as comfortable as other luxury hotels. Our bags were supposed to be taken to our room after checking in at 2:30. We arrived back at the room from a night out at 11:00 and no bags. It took the staff and manager until 11:45 to get our bags which we had to wait up for. In the morning, we were dying to have a coffee, and the coffee maker didn’t work. A disappointing experience overall.

When you walk in you were greeted offered help with our bags even before we checked in. That was so nice as I’m also in the service industry and help, friendly, the offers, clean place, room was great. The only minor complaint was they said bar fridge would be in our room in 15 minutes and seeing that we had little time to get to dinner and raptors game, we wanted our water and cocktails placed in fridge before we left. We waited about an hour and had to call concierge. We will definitely return again in a few months for baseball as we frequent Toronto for sports all year. We will book this hotel again as it’s connected to my career with RBC.

Staff were extremely courteous and professional, always looking to assist.

Excellent location, close to Union Station, Theater District and many great restaurants. I love the new updated rooms! Can't wait to see the new lobby next year.
