the room was not clean the bathroom was not clean there wasnt any coffee pot . the tub i cleaned .i laided down on the bed and it smelled of body order i left , they kept all of my money .i would never stay there again.i give them thumbs down .
The whole place stunk like cat urine. The walls (both interior and exterior) are paper thin so it's super noisy. There is no one at the front desk most of the time.
I've never seen a hotel that didn't have ice.. They had no ice and i asked for a cup, they said they had no plastic cups. The place was ghetto. I wish i could get my money back. I'll never go there again.
I wasn't please with the lack of amenities, the lack of a desk attendant. The hours, I couldn't believe office hours, opening up at 9am on Saturdays and 10am on Sundays. No one to greet you or check you out in the morning. The room needed repairs, just an awful experience.
Our room was pretty disgusting. The counter top was peeling, the night stand drawer was so broken it was literally falling out! The bed was hard as a rock, there were two completely flat pillows provided, the bathroom was gross, the towels were probably 15 years old, the floors were sticky, no essentials provided (shampoo, extra blankets, coffee, etc). VERY bare minimum room. Yikes. Also there are only certain hours you can check in. The first floor smelled like dog pee and everything else smelled like cigarette smoke. I definitely would never recommend this place to anyone.
Wet towels were on bathroom floor when we arrived (next morning realized shower curtain not preventing water on floor). Window beside Bypass open upon arrival.
I needed an overnight stop in the middle of a 28-hour drive. I only needed the basics, and I needed to be able to check in late. This place provided that with just a little inconvenience (One had to wait for an on-call person to make it to the desk in the late hour), and just a little apprehension (The hotel was a bit isolated and the clientele seemed a bit questionable). Although it wasn't cheap, it seemed to be the most inexpensive hotel in the region which wasn't a health hazard.
Great hospitality during the check in. The young lady that helped us was wonderful and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Good staff, good facility, nice room. Good location for what we wanted to do. Close to businesses and restaurants.
We booked at this motel because we couldn't find a room elsewhere in Topeka (it was high school graduation weekend). There were very few amenities in the room - no hair dryer, no iron, no hand towels, no dishes or cooking implements in the kitchen. We stayed for 4 nights, and during that time the 2 bath towels and 2 wash clothes we received were never replaced, and our room was not cleaned at all. There were significant periods of time when the office was closed. The key card for our room malfunctioned, leaving us stranded in the hall one evening for 30 minutes or so while the staff member on duty tried to figure out what the problem was. While we were locked out of our room, we noticed that the hallway reeked of marijuana smoke -- and this on what was supposed to be a non-smoking floor! On a more positive note, the bathroom was better equipped to meet the needs of handicapped guests than any I've ever seen before.
Just came here to visit my daughter for a week. Good pricing for a week's stay. I didn't need anything fancy, just a clean place in a good location & this was both. There was an issue with the fan in the bathroom making an annoying sound even when it wasn't running, but they switched me to a different room with no problem. My room was near the laundry room & housekeeping room, so it was noisy from time to time, but nothing unbearable. I let the staff know about the inside security door never fully closing which could be a potential security issue since the front desk isn't staffed 24/7. Hopefully they'll get that fixed soon.
for me cleanliness is a prime consideration and it was very clean. Only two small cups and nothing to heat water in the microwave but I guess that is in keeping with their minimalist ideology. I would stay there again.
