For the past four weeks two colleagues and myself have been registered guests of the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Toluca, Tollocan, Mexico. Mr. Gerardo Hernandez, General Manager, I can’t express enough, my extreme pleasure with your hotel and the entire staff who continually made us feel like royalty and a member of the Marriott family. I am, as always very impressed by the quality of the Marriott hotels. I travel worldwide extensively and can actually say that this is one of the best experiences I have had and is one of my favorites by far. The breakfast was outstanding each and every morning and I am sure the staff will never forget me as the individual who requested jalapeno peppers with every meal. I was spoiled daily having a wonderful cooked breakfast. The buffet and cook to order breakfast by all the chefs was fantastic. I wish acknowledge Eric, the Restaurant Manager and his entire Wait Staff, specifically Mauricio, Alfredo, Cuauhtemoc, Maria, Alberto, Otoniel, Victor and Karina. The entire hotel staff was absolutely the best and most professional ambassador’s of good will for your fine hotel who made our stay a most wonderful experience. All provided excellent service with a kind word and a pleasant smile. Over my entire stay I could not have requested any better service than I received. I will undoubtedly continue to make my reservations with Marriott on my future travels.
This is the second time at this property at his not changed. Good overall location except for the freight trains sounding off at 04:00 every morning. At check in was given a room and on opening the door found it occupied. Scared both the guest and myself. Not impressed. Rooms are fine and adequate but b3 warned the coffee maker that is in the room is a chargeable one. Missed a very small almost invisible notice on this. Not nice !
First time staying in this hotel and the staff was very friendly. Had a great restaurant on site and slept well without concern. I recommend if you are going to Toluca, Mexico to stay at the Courtyard.
Good for the two days. Friendly and helpful personnel. Room facing street, sound from close by roads and train-track that musts be open hence locomotive horn signaling when passing by Room I had was clean and nice, though time passed is visible. But normal for many not newer hotels. Close walk (10min) from Hotel you find a mall.
There was great and emotional place to me. A few weeks ago, I stayed the hotel for the purpose of biz trip for 11 days. At the first time, I did not realize their hospitality from the hotel people, but I believed that all visitors could not miss their kindness and generosity manners. All were reasonable and acceptable from the hotel people of front desk, restaurant, and parking service. Hotel location, facility and room was relatively good in view point of the cost/value. Most of all, I have to say that food and service at the hotel restaurant, Centro, is the first attractive factors to make me check-in again, if I will visit the city again.
The Marriott was the best option for me in Toluca for the 6 months that I was there. Very close to very factories, it is also close to a good mall. The restaurant is very good and the servise the best!
First time in the middle of Mexico and this hotel was beyond accommodating to our needs. Transport was provided every day to and form work. The staff in the restaurant was amazing, and consistent every night. Breakfast buffet was great, would stay again. 6th floor backside was awesome.
This is a great place to stay when on a business trip in the Toluca area. Its close to most Automotive business locations - and the service is great. The bar/café that is open late is a real savior, when you get back from a long days work and want a quick bite/drink without driving too far. The attached restaurant - Barrio Porteno is an convenient and awesome restaurant as well. Just a warning, if you get a room facing the highway, the freight trains that run sometimes at night might bother you if you are a light sleeper After the first stay in Dec 2016, have been here a couple of times and was never disappointed
Great place and great location thanks to alberto, Karina, axel alfredo and all personnel for the great service provided will definitely be back soon. Food was great and room service was also superb with great rooms at very reasonable prices.
Quality of the hotel is excellent, meal service is great for breakfast . Indoor gym is ok and suites are also good , internet service is fast enough for business travelers. Dinner buffet is also attractive
