This hotel is rather old, however Radisson did a great job by making the rooms very comfortable. Rooms are spacious - even gave me a upgrade to the rooms on the corridor. With a jacuzzi. Nice indoor garden. Restaurant food is good, but only thing is missing is a nice comfy bar.
Great value for the price, excellent service. Hotel is completing a major renovation. All rooms have been upgraded and modernize and are very comfortable. Excellent restaurant with a good variety of food choices
Can't comment on standard rooms as I had a suite which was beautiful, clean and large. Overall the hotel has a nice atmosphere with beautiful gardens. Where it falls short though is its restaurant. Ate there for 4 days straight and found the food to be less than average. Don't order the Chicken with cheese and ham, it's clearly frozen food warmed up so where the fries that came with it. Don't order the NY strip steak, it's horrible, and don't order the trout as it is prepared very differently. Furthermore the service is extremely poor with no smile. The restaurant was almost empty every time we ate yet the two waiters took forever to take drink orders and then bring them out. Food orders the same. In fact at one time after eating had to go up the waiter and ask if they could take the dirty dishes away and show us the dessert menu. So if you want a nice dinner experience stay away from this restaurant. In fairness though the breakfast is nice.
The Rooms are bare bones no frills, but clean. The building is very loud and at the time I stayed there were boys soccer teams running the halls the floor above me, which made it sound like the whole building was going to collapse. Not being familiar with the hotel or the area it would have been good to have a information book that described the area and hotel amenities available.
SO disappointed about this hotel was old, lack of cleaning the bath, dust on windows like abandoned place, furniture old and lack of maintenance. NO heater every single piece of furniture old and dusty. Looks like the room I had was used for me and last time 3 years ago
Hotel is under renovation being converted in to a Radisson of hotel. In the three weeks huge have been made and continue to be made. The staff were a huge help to me, and very understanding of my poor Spanish speaking ability.
a one time classy hotel, now being restored for many years already, i have been there 5 times, each time a little thing is new, but still there is much to fix, taps are ancient, bathrooms very old, many facilities including fitness room, need restoration. the breakfast is extraordinary, wifi is fine, meeting rooms old but not bad and price is quite low.
This is a long-standing Tolucan hotel, which, with the new competition from international chain hotels, has not really kept up. It certainly has nice touches - the lobby area is large, and there is a quiet enclosed garden area. But the overall impression is one of faded past glory. The rooms are average - quite large and mostly clean, but ours at least had a smelly bathroom. They could do with renovation. WiFi was fine. Nice coffee shop in the lobby. Live music in the bar area was a nice touch, and the breakfast buffet still seems to be popular. If you like breakfast with a view of a motorway, you'll like this.
Was there recently for the wedding of a friend as well as spending the night. Very big and has all that one will need whether one is in Toluca as a tourist, on business, renting one of the many huge conference rooms or just to relax. The courtyard is really nice and relaxing. The rooms are a good size, have air conditioning, free wifi and there is also a swimming pool. The restaurant has an excellent breakfast buffet and menu as a whole. The hotel is nicley located with east access to Toluca or the nearby shopping mall of Galerias Toluca which also has cafes and restaurants. Inside the hotel there is also a Punto del Cielo coffee shop and there is also a vending machine for soft drinks as well as an ice machine. The must see Toluca sight is more or less across the road.................... Torres Bicentenario
This hotel was recommended by a Mexican friend. I'm glad I booked it too. It is a charming hotel convenient to local attractions, shopping and restaurants. It has a mission style design w/ several interior gardens. Staff are very friendly. It is an older facility, which gives it its charm, so don't expect 5 star amenities. The wi-fi can be slow at times but the breakfast buffet is awesome.
