Normal and affordable hotel in Tokyo. The relation between price and quality was very good. Although the hotel and the rooms are small it is very quiet and the staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and the bathroom amenities was Shiseido.
This place is very clean, staff are friendly at it is very close to the M line which is only 3 stops from Tokyo station. Although the rooms are quite small, The B makes up for it with location, location, location! I would highly recommend this place
We were very pleased with this hotel. It was better than I expected for the price we paid. Very clean and pleasant reception. Room also clean, though not a great deal of space. Lots of extras provided - robes, hair brushes, razors. No problem for a couple of days though a few more coat hangers and hooks would have helped. Didn't have much to do with the staff, but they were polite and helpful in all our dealings with them. We had the breakfast one day which cost an extra 1000Y. A bit expensive but there was plenty of it and reasonable variety, including some interesting hot food. Location good. Many restaurants and shops nearby, and about 10 minutes walk from a JR Yamanote Line station. Useful for visitors using the JR Pass. Main downside was the wifi which was sporadic and slow. The worst we experienced travelling round Japan.
Excellent location, good price, comfortable rooms and good amenities. Happy that there were laundry facilities available too. Free coffee at all times in the lobby was a nice touch to the overall experience.
The hotel is conveniently located in central Tokyo and makes a good base for exploring the city. Within walking distance from the Imperial palace gardens and Akihibara area. Very close to metro, plenty of food options and convenience stores around. The staff is very kind and helpful. Yes, the rooms are small, really small, but very clean. There is a teakettle in the room and a coffee machine in the lobby. There is also a small refrigerator in the room and a flat screen TV (which we did not bother to put on). WiFi is ok, works better in the room than in the lobby. Breakfast area is next to the reception and is rather small. Breakfast is ok, although not much variety.
The rooms are small - but this is very typical of Japanese Hotels. If you're wanting large western sized hotel rooms, you're looking at hotels double or triple the price. Functionality-wise, this hotel is great. It's very central and only 5-10 minutes walk to train stations, which will get you everywhere else. The hotel staff's command of English is very good and so I had no issues communicating with them also. The rooms are functional, there is a gap underneath your bed where you can put your luggage to maximise space in your room.
The rooms might be small, but the hotell is clean and easy place to stay close to several metro lines that can take you anywhere you would need to go in Tokyo. Its located on a quiet street, but not far from restaurants, bars and convenience stores. I have stayed at several The B hotels in Tokyo and will come back again,
Stayed here for 8 nights as part of our honeymoon and they got us a little surprise with champagne and little bears. The rooms are quite small but I think that's the norm in Japan. The rooms are clean with a very compact bathroom. The staff were super helpful when I needed to go to the Drugstore and they try very hard to help you with everything. There's a laundry on the 9th level which you can purchase the detergent at reception and it was very easy to use. The breakfast choice alternates every second day and there's not a wide variety but it sustains us until lunch time. It's a 1 minute walk to the station and it's only two stops away from Tokyo Station. Great location and will definitely recommend this place to other travelers if you want great location at a reasonable price.
The hotel rooms are very small, but great for a short stay, the rooms are clean and the staff are very helpful, wifi connection goes off at times but generally very good connection, the hotel staff are very nice and always there for a helping hand
I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for a short family trip to Japan. Let me start off by saying the hotel is nice and clean. The front desk staff was amazing and very accommodating. We arrived early and check in was not for another 2 hours. The front desk staff was quick to see if they could accommodate us and they did. They were very nice and just a pleasure to interact with. We booked a standard double bed room. The room itself was a bit small compared to the US rooms however they were very welcoming. They had robes and slippers. They had toiletries and all were replaced on a daily basis. The bathrooms were a decent size. The tv channels are limited, however you have an option to pay for movies. The location is great a short 2 min walk to the subway station which connects you to wherever you have to go. Around the hotel location there are a lot of food selections from native Japanese to American food. My only feedback that is a suggestion for the hotel management is to troubleshoot the Wifi connections. At times the internet was slow. Besides that small item the hotel is great and the best bang for your buck. I definitely recommend it.
