Terrible experience. Early check in fee is 3,000 yen CASH ONLY. The attendant is rude also! I paid for non smoking but got smoking and my room smelled worse than an ash tray! There also were sperm stains on the walls!!! The bathroom was terrible! There was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom and the toilet was broken. I would NEVER stay there again!!! I tried to tell the manager but he “was out” I wish I could get a refund!

It is such a third grade hotel room. I don't know why they call it a hotel. Lift was so old and its floor was so pathetic. Entrance was very bad and smelling bad. Room was one old non-upgraded room with nothing like a japanese business hotel pathetic. never go for it

Full of facilities, great at this price in Tokyo

You can find all the stuff you need for 3-4 days stay in this hotel. 150m to a subway and 450m to Ocachimashi station (sorry for misspell the station name, if any. It is the station next to Ueno JR Line). A supermarket is just adjacent to the hotel wall. Recommended.

The rooms are listed as being for two people, but there's no way two people can fit comfortably in one of these rooms. (As far as I can tell all of the rooms are the same size.)

Feels like living in an apartment

As the title states, it feels just like living in an apartment building. The place is not too bad, very private, no need to worry about staff watching you. Room may smell like smoke, but fabreeze fixes everything. Kind of dusty, but you can clean that up yourself. Room has microwave, mini fridge, closet with fabreeze hanging, TV, and a mini induction stove (No pots). The surroundings of the hotel does have markets and a small shopping district around 400m away. Or if you need something quick, a lawson next door to it. Learn to use the subway since the entrance is closer than walking to the main line (Yamanote). Hotel is equipped with a washer/dryer on ground level and rather inexpensive. You will need to know how to read some Japanese if your shower/sink runs out of hot water. The panel next to the door will need to be reset to heat up the next 99L of water. Cleaning people will only clean if you put the sign outside the door. Other than that, not much else to say about this place. Still a decent place even though not close to the main line. Good for exercising since you will be doing lots of walking.

Learn from my mistake.

Staff were courteous and tried to be somewhat accommodating. Location is nowhere close to anything of interest. The room was filthy with half-used complimentary toiletries from previous guests provided for continued use. Wi-Fi was hit and miss. Depression quickly set in.
