Location was awesome with a 5 min walk to the Akasaka station. Very friendly staff and checking was an ease. Clean rooms. As advertised plus after checking reviews we expected the rooms to be small. we were not planing to stay too long in the hotel only to sleep. I would take an extra pillow or ask for one as we needed twice the normal Japanese size.pillow. cant beat the price for the location.
Well, I stay with my 6 year son, it was a nice time, everything was clean and the service was just amazing. If i will be in Tokyo again sure I will go to Yoko hotel. my son enjoy his time there, I love Yoko hotel
The rooms were very small and the bed was rock hard. The location of this hotel made up for a lot of sins. It was inexpensive and clean. It was perfect for our trip. This hotel is very centric. Very close to Rapongi Hills and only a block or two from the subway.
We had some last minute booking with the hotel due to unforeseen circumstances with our Airbnb host. It was 31st of December 2017, when everything else was either expensive or not available. So Akasaka Yoko appeared to have all we need, good price, and as well the distance to Tokyo Tower. I was skeptical at first due to the old looking facade, but oh boy, surprisingly they have just renovated their rooms and they are modern looking, as well as very accommodative room layouts. I have no comments as i was very satisfied with everything else. Will definitely come back to stay here in the near future.
I spent four nights there with my mum. It is about 5-10 minutes walk to Akasaka train station with pharmacy, fast food shops and supermarket in walking distance. However, Akasaka station isn't on a very convenient line and it will take you very long if you want to head back to hotel for a nap/ to drop off stuff. Similar to most budget/ business hotel in Tokyo, the room was tiny and merely enough to have two hand-carry suitcase opened. Yet, I was actually quite impressed by the design of the micro size bathroom but plus-size/ tall people might have a tough time. Noise cancellation was well and we couldn't hear anything at night. Staff did their job very well and we got our sheet changed and shower products replenished daily. Overall, I am quite happy with my stay there. *Tip : If you take Metro, use exit from Sacas mall so you don't need to take the stairs. We didn't know the first day and it was certainly not easy to walk up those steep stairs!
The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The staff was welcoming and patient when it came to the language barrier. They advertise a western or traditional breakfast but it was mostly western selections. Would definitely go back when traveling to Tokyo. Akasaka is a very happening area to stay!
Rooms are small as expected any where in Tokyo, staff is polite but that too is every where in tokyo. Location is close to Chiyoda line and bit further out is the Akasaka-Mitsuke Station which has loads more bars and resturants.
I was staying at another hotel as it showed close to the transportation . As I extended my stay I looked for a change and explore a different part of my stay and found this great deal. Very surprised at the hotel very professional staff looked more like a good business hotel modern clean great internet and in close to all the night life of Akasaka Roppoongi walking distance great parks. Very close to the fashion center of Omote Sando Ginza Shibuya . Very easy way to get the airport limousine online to Narita one stop from Akasaka station at Capitol hotel Akasaka at Kokkai-gijidome station is the best option
The room was inexpensive for Tokyo, very clean, and very tight. Had to squeeze by my carry on to get from the bed to the bathroom. Ceiling height in the shower is 6ft for tall people. There was an english speaker at the front desk each time I stopped by during my three day stay. The only downside from my American perspective is they have a sign by the elevator that said no guests allowed in the room. If I was expecting one that would have been nice to know before I paid my non-refundable reservation.
The best price to stay in Tokyo. Great location, only 2 blocks away from Akasaka Station and it will take you anywhere in Tokyo. The rooms are small but clean. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again.
