It was great! Got the room as pictured. Staff was super nice! Check in was easy, staff did all the work other than inputing my information and check out was even easier! Just dropped the key in an automated kiosk! Prime location near shops and restaurants!

Great amenities, room was a little tight but it was fine. There was an option to get a massage thru the hotel which was fine but it would have been nice if the hotel had a dedicated room for guests to go to instead of the massage therapist going to the guest room and using the bed Overall great experience. Will definitely book again

While you are staying in a very convenient location in Shinjuku, be prepared for the noise that you’re going to hear at night as it can be very loud, even on the higher floors. Also, you may need to use google translate when speaking with the staff, but they can be very helpful. The room was great, but very small and it can take a bit to get used to the multi-use water dispenser for both the sink and shower.

I'll start with the positives. The location is very convenient for getting around Tokyo, and hotel staff were very polite. However the other details of our stay were infuriating. To start, the room was MUCH smaller than the pictures that Hotels.com uses to advertise the hotel. This is of course not the hotel's fault, but the room was literally just barely wide enough for the bed. That said, the room was clean and fairly comfortable at first (see below). Sleeping was difficult because each night there were sirens every couple of hours, and there was no insulation on the window. We were on the 12th floor and it sounded like the sirens were outside our window even when it was closed. Halfway through our stay the hotel turned off the air conditioning and changed it to heat without telling us, so we woke up in a sauna. It was so hot in the room I couldn't breathe and got a bad headache. The hotel staff refused to turn the air back on, and told us to open the window instead. This didn't sufficiently cool the room down, made the siren problem much worse, and furthermore we woke up to a room absolutely full of mosquitoes, since there was no screen on the window. When I contacted hotels.com about a refund for the nights without air conditioning (which is specifically listen as an amenity) they refused to help me. I would recommend staying elsewhere, and booking from a different website, since hotels.com refuses to take responsibility for their listings.

Very good, nice clean rooms and nice staff, however I found it hard to sleep most nights because of the police/ambulance sirens going off in the middle of the night just outside which makes sense because it is pretty close to Golden Gai but besides that everything else was perfect

Overall the hotel was fine for a quick one night stay but I would have regretted staying here longer. It was clean but was a bit far from the train stations (7-10mins walk). Usually a 10mins walk is no big deal but after you have been walking around the city all day it feels exhausting. It is located right in the heart of Shinjuku so would be a great spot if you wanted to stay up late and enjoy the nightlife. While the room was very clean and the staff were friendly the room was very small. We stay in 4 different hotels during our trip in Japan including another one in Tokyo earlier in our trip and this was by far the smallest room out of all of them. And it was noisy at night, we stayed there on a Saturday night so that may have contributed to the extra noise, but we had to turn on white noise to tune out the street sounds. Based on all of this I had to rate it 3 stars even though it was clean.
