Let's start with the scam they have going on as soon as you check in. Some kind of damage deposit that they charge you instead of putting a hold on your card. If you Google it tons of reviews are shown from ppl that have been scammed from this policy. We flat out refused and she caved. Upon entering the room it smelled like a black mold, dirty ashtray and we had to ask for air freshener and asked why it stink like smoke. She flipped out claiming we were harassing her and did not offer a better option. Due to how tired we were from driving that day we just stayed put and maybe that's the only way they make money.. weary, over tired desperate travelers... because I can't see anyone ever staying there as an personal choice. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for not upkeeping the property and at least having some pride in their establishment. It should be condemned.
The bed was very comfortable with soft and and they had Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the super comfortable shower. It isn’t near many restaurants that aren’t fast food chain, but the town is large, so I’m sure they have nice places to eat a few minutes away. Parking lot is in bad shape- lots of holes and rough patches. Simple breakfast (not hot) and the staff person in charge was very nice.
What is going on with Wyndham hotel franchises? First problem was being put on second floor when elevator was broken. Both my wife and I have trouble carrying heavy baggage. When first walked into room the we pulled back the bed covers and noticed a red stain on mattress cover and even the mattress itself had blood stains. They were very accommodating and the young man that came to change out the cover was very polite and apologetic. In the end we were offered a different room and everything was good. As for the breakfast it was very sparse but it was ok.

The pool was broken, the public toilets were broken. We wanted to cancel our reservation due to these problems. They told me I could cancel and owe nothing. I got home to find I still have a charge on my credit card.
Staff was super nice and friendly. Room was clean but carpets were worn and dingy…not a cleanliness issue, they just need replaced!
On the positive side. The bed was fairly comfortable and it was a relatively in expensive place to get some zzzs on a trip. There was long line at the check-in so despite the fact I had prepaid it took at least 45 min to get through the check in. My wife even sent me an sos text to make sure I was OK. On arriving in the room we immediately looked for the thermostat as it was chilly. No heating vents or temperature controls of any sort were to be found. Luckily the water in the shower was very warm and we were able to quickly steam up the room. Unfortunately the shower also came with complimentary hair and a previously used soap bar. The coffee pot and complimentary coffee were conveniently located on the floor by the TV and one of the end table lights did not function which added some mood ambiance. The curtain rod on the right was sagging dramatically but it still served to block out the light. We were also serenaded with loud music and inebriated chatter at 2am. You just can't buy this kind of live entertainment. Overall the experience did not lend itself to any romantic activities, however in the morning we were pleased to find our vehicle unmolested. I doubt the 8 dollar upgrade to a king size bed would have enhanced our experience much. In summary if you need a quick inexpensive place to lay your head and dash and don't necessarily need a solid night's sleep, this place may be for you.
