The hotel was in a very central location, there were facilities to leave luggage and store bikes . The bar and lounge were nice, serving cocktails and drinks, and all the staff were very helpful. We went on a very hot weekend and the only disappointment was that there was no air conditioning in the rooms. Otherwise I would have given 5 star

we had a wonderful stay at Tulip Inn. The staff was courteous, always smiling, very helpful. Our room had a king bed and shower. We were comfortable in the room. Good water pressure for the shower. Negative is the coffee maker needed to be replaced. Close to the trains, town and good restaurants.

Had a great time here. the staff were very helpful, friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. dinner was superb. All in all a great stay in a lovely little city. Just a short walk to the Road/Rail Station. Ideal for Amsterdam and Keukenhoff Gardens. Most people spoke English and were very friendly. Will definitely return.

Very comfortable bedroom apart from the heat: any building without air conditioning needs a means of getting hot air out and cool air in. Only one bedroom window opened and that only a crack, so no effective heat exchange, and the corridors were similarly extremely hot even when the temperature outside was moderate or cool. Poor building design. Breakfast was excellent.

We were first assigned to a room that had no air conditioning. When we called the front desk to complain, the clerk was not at all helpful. Fortunately, my husband, who speaks Dutch, spoke to them and managed to persuade them to move us to a smaller room that at least was comfortable, if shabby. The restaurant is good. The breakfast buffet typical. We wouldn’t stay there again.

I have stayed here before when I was in Europe and was amazed to receive the same level of service. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and spacious and the location is perfect….a 5 minute walk to the train station and 10 minute walk to the heart of Leiden shopping. I will definitely stay here again.
