This hotel is conveniently located five minutes from the Central Train Station and close to all the places I wanted to visit. It has a restaurant and meeting room. We were greeted by a friendly person at the front deak and checked in promptly. The elevators are not located close to the the front desk. The room and bathroom were clean. The TV remote control was difficult to use and there were not any instructions. The person at the front desk did not know how to operate it. We stayed two nights and when our room was made up, the empty kleenex box was not replaced and neither was the complimentary shampoo. I know this would be an easy fix if I made a request from the front desk. The included breakfast was excellent with many healthy choices. I would stay at this hotel again.
Very conveniently located boutique style hotel. We only stayed a night but effortless and polite check in, generous and well appointed room, nice chilled bar and helpful staff. Very handily located a stones throw from train station and close to taxi rank to access the town.
Keeping this short. Receptionist unwelcoming. Lift bumpy, room so small there was no room for bed side tables, dark and depressing. I checked out and went somewhere else. Alright if you are looking for somewhere to sleep and nothing else.
I liked everything about my stay. Friendly staff, nice room. Nothing to complain. Five minutes walk from the station. Twenty minutes from the shopping centre. I misses coffee/tea facility in the room.
There are pleasant places to sit in the public area. Free coffee is always available if you are on business with a group. The quality of our meeting room and IT was good. The service was satisfactory. The dining room clearly has an excellent chef -- I remember this from last year. I had a delicious cream of celeriac soup with a mushroom quenelle before my main course. Upon my request, my dinner was served in my room.
Excellent hotel for my business trip, close to the train station, close to my company's local office. Bar and restaurant were excellent. This is my fifth trip here in the last two years. The hotel is also used frequently by other employees from my company based in the U.S.
Perfectly located across the Leiden train station, this hotel has friendly staff, a nice restaurant, good quality rooms. The only thing I misses was an own fitness area but passes are available to a fitness club nearby
This is a really fine hotel, in a good location. Good bed, fine room, free wifi, nice staff, nothing to complain. Train an bus station at a 4 minutes walk, museums and city centre near by. Leyden is a fine city with a lot of good restaurants and bars an a lot of culture to inhale.
As others have mentioned its right in front of the train station, which is awesome. If you arrive after 9pm you tend to find most places are closed for dinner. We found a good burger place to eat at within the train station. The continental breakfast is good and better than any in the US. It's true rooms on the roadside are noisy so if your a sensitive to noise request room on the other side. There is also a great Thai restaurant in walking distance, but make a reservation in advance
Pleasant enough hotel only 2 minutes walk from the station. Unfortunately our room faced the front and was bothered by traffic noise from the dual carriageway outside. Unlike many city centre hotels I have stayed in around the world, it did not have secondary noise glazing - a real omission. Top tip - ask for a rear facing room.
