Hilton The Hague5.0 out of 5.0

Was upgraded to a suite this time round which was once as gives far more space, club lounge fair seems to have improved a little too with a better selection. Breakfast downstairs much improved with a omelette station and generally friendly staff so nudging five stars for me - keep up the improvement journey, its working Rob
Stayed here on two separate occasions, one night each. Somewhat unassuming on the outside, but once in really gives the vibe of pretty cool place, and rather different than many more traditional Hilton's, in a positive way. Both times had great, nicely layed out rooms, with an upgrade to a junior suite the second time. Rooms are nice, but for me were somewhat warm and w/o the AC operating this time of year (appears still overridden by central controlled heating), only way to cool was by an open window...which was not too much of a drama. Great bathroom facilities too. Really, outside of the warmth, great rooms, and a very comfy bed. Great location. Very short walk to so much you would want to see, and a setting on the canal is somewhat idyllic. Breakfast is great, the lady even took us around to show us what was on offer prior to sitting. Looked forward to our second stay after the first largely due to the breakfast. So, why not a 5. Well, warm room aside which can be overcome, the exec lounge is pretty poor. Staff extremely unnattentive, and the fare on offer rather plain, and not much of it. Gym was OK, but the straps on the main weight machine dug into my hands leaving some pretty intense bruising....no other choice there. Had to play find the hair dryer on morning, to no avail, which was frustrating. 4.5 would be an ideal return, but unfortunately I had to lean slightly/barely towards a 4 as opposed to moving to a 5. Great value though, and I would recommend.
We had a workshop at this hotel and everything including location, service and rooms were perfect. Banqueting and sales teams were very helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend this place and would come again.
The reception staff was very friendly and helpful and always with a smile The rooms are large and have a huge shower room You have to take take into consideration that the bathroom doors are "see thru"
Great place to stay, easy access to public transport, staff are really nice and welcoming. Lots of restaurants around, close to the shopping mall (2 stops) and other places of interest. Great breakfast and family friendly.
I really liked our room, it was very clean, had nice amenities, and a great bathtub. The breakfast was excellent! The Hilton is within walking distance of everything. It was pouring buckets when we arrived and the staff offered us an umbrella. There is a little construction going on outside the place but it's not a distraction.
Very nice hotel with high standards. Good location with walk distance from central station. Large and fresh room with almost all one need. Very nice staff who are always smiling and are very helpful. Very good breakfast and good lunch. I was very satisfied with staying in the hotel.
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Love the breakfast. The rooms are tidy and comfortable. Was a bit stuffy with the cold weather and there is construction going on outside so open windows not an option, even at night because the traffic and trucks are loud...but that’s not the fault of the hotel. I should have asked to be moved to an inside room. Nice little gym. WiFi Service is good. I didn’t care for the dinner service at Pearl (will write up separately). Service was slow and the food was just ok. I did not include in my Hilton survey, so need to shout out to Polat and Edwin as exceptional staff members - both extremely approachable and attentive to guests. I stay here often when I am in town, so recommend.
We visited Hilton The Hague last year in July for my husband birthday and having a few days to spare we decided to come back . All the hotel staff were charming and attentive and the room, spacious, elegant and very clean. We could walk in the executive lounge and have freshly made coffee, soft drinks and snacks, before we walked out of this wonderfully located hotel. We remembered the food on our last visit was excellent and we were little disappointed to find out that they change their cuisine, but we dined in two occasions and we liked the food very much. Tasty steak tartar, wonderful San Daniele Ham( which is been given as a taster before the meal and explained that is cured for 16 months and have less salt than Parma ham) and nice oysters were beautifully served as starters. As the restaurant now is a steak house we decided to have some meat, but we were little undecided which one and the waiter presented us a board with all the meat cuts and we had the meat on the bone from Holland and was absolutely delicious and tasty( probably one of the best we've ever had). We only stayed for two nights and my husband said that next time we will return it will be at least for three if not four as we felt that our trip to The Hague was to short. Giving the hotel location, food, service and comfort we will definitely be back!
I stayed here for 4 nights with work. I really liked it. I walked to the hotel from the train station in the center of town pulling my suitcase. It was a bit far but not really. I'm not that young and did it fine so most others could as well. The hotel is very attractive and seemed like a good location. I roamed around a bit and walked to the Peace Palace within a few minutes and the center of town isn't far. The room was quite large (mine at least which was room 322). Starbucks in the lobby if you like coffee. Best thing of all was the room service. The food was so delicious. I got the spaghetti Bolognese and, seriously, it was something I'll remember fondly from The Hague. Just delicious. Would stay again for sure.
