Changed rooms twice. Still was unhappy. Second room had roaches, bed spring coils was poking my body all over, mattress was lump sided, miz matched knobs on the so called jetted tub, tub needed to be caulked, toilet would not flush, only 3 small plows on king size bed, only had top sheet and a coverlet on the bed. I could go on but will stop there. I would not recommend this place to no one and will not stay here again. I would rather sleep in my vehicle before staying here again.
After reading other comments, I find that many have experienced the same disappointment that I had in my stay of 8/17/16. I passed by the place several times (it is set back from the road, hidden amidst other hotels that have signs that shine brightly at night: this hotel's sign was dark). I had too restart my GPS just to confirm where I thought I was to be...anyway, I found it. The entry and lobby was promising and the staff at the desk were friendly but, except for the comfortable bed and the clean shower/toilet room, I, have nothing but disappointment to report. The exterior of the rooms is tired, with paint worn/scraped off the door. Musty odor filled the air of my room and the AC had been turned off so, it took a while to get the room up to a tolerable temp. The KING Bed room I had reserved became a room with two double beds. I was tired and these inconveniences did not spur me enough to complain. I tried out the wifi on my laptop. The level of signal was so poor and sporadic (fading up and out) that I could not get a consistent or steady run of web browsing...so I shut it off and prepped for bed. I walked in my socks to the sink and suddenly my socks were soaked (the carpet near the sink was waterlogged). I turned and caught a glimpse of a roach scurrying away on the wall (nailed it with a soda bottle). All of the electrical outlets were tired (no tension to hold a plug in) or were dead (like the one next to the sink counter, no wonder the hair dryer hung from it's wall bracket but unplugged). I laid down and tried to watch TV...nope, TV did not work. Alarm clock on night stand next to bed was unplugged...no outlet anywhere in the vicinity to plug it into. Geez, whatta circus. These are simple conveniences, health issues, and functionality issues that most American travelers expect. It is as if someone tried to set up the motel room without any understanding of the concept. The next morning I discovered the TV's AC cord and the cable box (with its own coax and AC cord) were wrapped in a spiral behind the flat screen, around the wall bracket. There was no outlet near the TV so I just figured it was hard-wired...just plain utter nonsense. In my 40 years' of travel I've seen worse...but not much! The owner needs to read the various comments submitted and take heed. The place has potential to bounce back...but not if its run by people without a clue.
This place was really hard for us to find! Passed it twice since it's on a little side street and the hotel sign was NOT lit at night. I am by no means a "hotel snob" and stay at low budgets hotels often on business trips. But this hotel was gross. As soon and I walked into the room I wanted to walked back out. It smelled like body odor and mold. When I went to plug my cell charger behind the bed I thought something might crawl up my hand, it was so dirty back there! I didn't even want to walk barefoot or touch anything. I wouldn't even set my bags on the chair since it had "mysterious stains" all over it. I don't like being "that person" to write a negative review, but it was really nasty in there.
If your looking for a nice hotel with great staff, clean rooms, and a safe environment for a bargain I deff recommend this one, I've visited this hotel about 30 times and never had a bad experience if something isn't right they will fix it. I give them 2 thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻
I made my reservation thru the Choice web site. I put the address in the GPS and it sent me to the wrong motel. When I finally got to the property, the desk clerk was watching a movie on TV in the Lobby, every other work was the "F" word, that should have told me something. The first room he checked us into, the door would not open so we had to go to another room. The room had 2 beds, both of the mattresses were absolutely the worst, neither had any mattress to them only springs. When I checked out, I suggested the owner sleep in both beds, he would soon put in new mattresses. The breakfast was horrible to say the least. I suggest one stays there only as a last resort.
Worked fine for overnight stay rooms weren't the cleanest but not too bad beds weren't the most comfortable but they worked fine for an overnight the breakfast was very good if I needed a cheap overnight stay I would stay here again
Had to book on here to get the price I wanted. But over all clean, a few burn spots on the bed & battery's in remote for tv were low. Other than that great deal. (There were no snack vending machines, luckily there is a gas station next door.!)
Stayed here one night during a motorcycle tour of Arkansas. Hotel is only a few years old so everything was still new and spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet was very good. I would stay here again. Very reasonably priced.
The managers/staff were super friendly however the room was old and dingy: stains on the sheet and floors, etc. no windows on the outside to be able to watch your vehicle. There are two doors to the rooms and the inside viewing the courtyard has a window. We checked in- saw that there really wasn't wi-fi as advertised and left! There is a pizza joint less than 100 yards away FYI. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you are really on a budget!
My wife and I did stay the night because we were tired, however won't stay here again. This was so far the worst Quality Inn We've stayed. Poor room lighting, table and chairs unstable, bathroom not well cleaned, walls need maintenance. No we did not complain as we were tired and just wanted to sleep.
