The lady who checked us in was foreign and had very broken English. She was so hard to understand. Don’t be fooled breakfast is not free and they give a coupon. The toilet constantly ran water and kept me up most of the night.

The room was just that — a room with a bed and tv. The door had a gap at the bottom, didn’t seal tightly at the lock, and you could hear anything that happened in the hallway. There was also a strange smell that went away after about an hour because you forgot about it.

I am owner of a business, we are here working a job. Two staff members were nice but one girl at the desk treated me ugly, she was very rude. I walked on the floor in my room and my feet were covered in trash, it was disgusting! I brought my own towel from home and they took it and refused to look for it. The room was not the cheapest in the area and it was very unclean. Will not be staying here again.

Subject: Disappointing Stay – Lack of Hot Water and Poor Service During my recent stay at Baymont by Wyndham Texarkana, I went a full day without hot water. I spoke with three different staff members multiple times and was given the runaround. When I finally reached the manager, the issue was not taken seriously. I was even told maintenance would check if I knew how to turn the shower handle to “hot,” which I found insulting. As someone who travels to Texarkana at least twice a month for work, I expected better service and professionalism. I was eventually moved to another room only because I had paid for two nights—but no discount or consideration was offered for the inconvenience. This experience was disappointing and far below the standard I expect from Wyndham properties. Unless service improves, I do not plan to stay at this location again.

The front desk didnt greeted us, only asked if "you want to check in" then gave a a coupon for breakfast, we went to our room, looked clean, the AC had a smell not bad but it was like a car scented smell that it was to strong, one of the sheets had a stain. My kids didnt want to spend the night, so we left around 9pm.

Not a great place. Trash cans full on property, security door to building open, room just okay at best with busted extra door lock that someone obviously tried to break in. The breakfast was pretty good, but the hot food had almost completely run out by the time we got downstairs, which was half an hour before breakfast was supposed to end. They should’ve prepared more food. One of the young ladies behind the counter was very sweet, but did not speak English well and misunderstood a lot of things, and I had a hard time getting her to grasp what I was asking. I was about 90% sure that the checkout time was noon, and when I got there, there was a piece of tape over the sign that said 11 o’clock. They need to fix that.. They have the oldest flatscreen TVs I’ve seen in a long time. They are not smart TVs. You cannot screen cast from your phone to the television. There is heavy pixelation. That said, everyone on the staff was nice. The rooms were relatively clean, but the hotel looked fairly dingy. Cheap. But to be fair, it was an inexpensive place to stay for the night and the AC cranks down to 60°, so I enjoyed the stay anyway.

When we arrived a list of things was itemized that people would be charged for, after speaking with staff they said it is for “major” damages. I took a 5 minute video of the room and how unhygienic, run down and misleading the rooms were. Once settling in bugs were found throughout the room, horrible oder from the fridge and an AC that barely made any difference. I have NEVER had an issue with Expedia until this hotel. There were stains on the bed, bugs and very limited security. When asked about cameras we were assured “ we have ring cameras throughout the property”.
