Needed a break from the hurdy gurdy. The hotel met our expectations and our stay was a good one
My partner and I only needed an o/night stay as we were attending an event on the Central Coast , we just needed somewhere to stay the night without breaking the bank so when I saw the Ashwood Motel o/n rates I immediately booked then rang my partner to let her know not to expect much as the rates were so low . When we walked into our room we were pleasantly surprised to find that it had everything you could ask for including a microwave , the room was spacious and very clean , we were extremely satisfied and vowed to return in the not to distant future , definitely value for money ... thankyou Ashwood Motel
We only stayed for one night, and at first we weren't sure it would be all we thought. The first view from the room is beautiful, but looks a lot like the beach front is a bit overblown. We went out walking and found that it is not in the least overblown. The beach is across the road and hidden from view by all of the trees. A wonderful beach and an even larger and more wonderful beach a few minutes walk down the way. The room was comfortable and well stocked.
Great location, very clean, large & spacious apartments. Nice balcony, close to Convention Center. Parking a bit of a hassle, but it's downtown and close. Great staff, but seriously dated and worn lobby decor.
