Fairfield Inn & Suites Terre Haute2.5 out of 5.0

This hotel is conveniently located just off of Interstate 70 and was easy to access. The hotel was clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The price for the hotel was very reasonable as well. Breakfast in the morning was the standard fare served at Fairfield Inn properties, which is to so say that it is no bad but not great either. Overall, this was another positive experience at a Fairfield Inn for us.
We stayed at the hotel on a cross country drive. Checkin was fast and efficient. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable and I had a good nights rest. The noice level at theis hotel was low. I would stay here again.
Modern motel, everything at this motel looks new. Comfortable, spacious room. Quiet even though parking lot was full. Bed was quite comfortable and we slept well. Morning pastry for breakfast with plenty of coffee. Just off Interstate 70, easy to find, easy to get in and out. Plenty of restaurants close by. Good nights stay.
Room was spotless. Beds comfy. Good bed linens & towels & shower temp & water pressure. Only problem was not the hotel's fault: we got off I 70 due to a huge traffic tie up (big wreck during downpour), and tried to get to hotel from rt. 40, where there was numerous construction road blocks in that area = which Google maps was not updated on. I called the hotel direct & they graciously talked me to them. If you got off the correct exit of I 70, you would have no problem.
Stayed here overnight for business in Terre Haute. The hotel is just a minute from the I-70 off ramp. Check in was quick, parking ample in front. The room was clean and nicely furnished. There is a small indoor pool and an internet workstation in the lobby. Breakfast was complementary with eggs or cheese omelettes, self made waffles, fruit, juices, coffee and toast. There was also a choice of grapes or blueberries. The only minor inconvenience was that the carpet in my room was slightly damp due to carpet cleaning (but a notice in the door lock and in the room). Overall , a solid choice of accommodations for Terre Haute.
We stayed here for one night on our way to southern Indiana. Will not make that mistake again. While it is not the hotel's fault there was a noisy kid pounding the floor all night, they did not enforce a quiet policy. They need to take a cue from Homewood Suites as they make their guests sign a quiet policy contract. I didn't get much sleep and they comped my room, but, as a result, I almost had a wreck and my grand niece almost drowned. Never again. My grand niece is a hyper kid too, but I kept her quiet at our hotel down the road. It can be done! If I could keep her quiet, those people could have been more considerate. Will never stop in this town EVER again.
After a grueling 15 hour day on the road all we needed was a place to lay our weary heads, Fairfield in Terre Haute delivered and more, very friendly staff, super comfy beds and a delicious breakfast to boot. Thank you so much for the attentive service. God bless.
Another Fairfield Inn that provides the quality of stay with comfortable sleeping rooms. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. Check-in was fast with friendly staff members at the front desk. My one disappointment is that the hotel does not offer HD viewing. There is another hotel that is being built adjacent to this Inn. There was some construction noise in the morning, but it really did not influence the quality of my stay. I would, however, recommend seeking an even-numbered room facing north rather than the rooms facing the direction of the new hotel.
I don't know why, but I always like it more when I can stay at a Fairfield Inn & Suites. I've liked nearly all of my Marriott stays, but there's always something a little extra nice and comfortable about this particular brand.
I hardly ever travel but unfortunately had a death in my family so staying with you became necessary. I had mentioned when asked the reason for my visit I told her I had a death in the family . I was then given condolences , asked if I needed a later check-out, and told she would do anything she could to make my stay easier. If I remember correctly her name was Holly. Such kindness and sincerity is a rare thing these days and I truly appreciated the gesture. My room was clean and comfortable and I even received a follow phone call to make sure everything was ok. Upon leaving a full buffet breakfast was provided. I never knew a hotel could be so personable. Your staff is exceptional! They made a diffult circumstance a little bit easier.
