Enjoyed our 4 night stay. Everything was clean and modern. Usually, we don't eat breakfast in. However, the food was tasty and the coffee was good. Very quiet and comfortable sleeping. Enjoyed the shower.
Always stay here. Nice rooms with larger bath area Staff is friendly and professional Nice free breakfast in morning Reasonable price too. Close to shopping center and many restaurants A good place to stay
Pros: 1.) The hotel in general is in a pretty good location and right off of 70. There are also quite a few restaurants in close proximity. 2.) It is very clear that the property has gone through a recent renovation. The outside looks a bit old, but the lobby and the rooms are in newer condition. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the property was based on the outside of the building. 3.) Breakfast area was well stocked and had plenty of seating. Cons: 1.) Room was a little bit on the small side for a Fairfield. Not a huge deal for me as this was a business trip, but if traveling with a family, it might be wise to book a suite. Conclusion: I'd definitely come back. Staff was friendly, hotel was quiet, and was exactly what I needed for the evening.
During a road trip to Ohio for Thanksgiving we stopped at the Fairfield Inn in Terre Haute for the night. The hotel is just off US Hwy 70 and has several dining options nearby. The Inn is just what I expected, comfortable and reliable. The desk clerk was very friendly and welcome by. The hotel decor is modern but welcoming. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. Really a nice place to stop for a rest.
Stopped for the night on our way out west. Room was clean - breakfast was typical— but no half and half for coffee (ended up running to McDonald’s—don’t like fake creamers ). Would stop there again if in the area (we’re partial to Fairfield Inns)
Called before arrived (Thursday)and was upgraded to King Suite-asked for a 2 queen room was told sold out but to ask when check in. Arrived early Friday and they had room ready for me which was great-asked for 2 queen room-told sold out. Got king room for handicapped. Asked for 2 queen room later in day in case got cancellation but told sold out. Later was at desk handicapped man, wife and grands checked in- offered my king suite handicapped room when couple was off checking off room. Told no could not. Saturday came-son got ready, dressed and left for event. I went to shower and handicapped hand-held shower did not work. Called front desk-sent up head of housekeeping who did not know how to fix. Asst. GM (woman) came up though intro'd self as GM-(GM is actually a man). Could not fix. I told her that I had only 40 minutes to shower, dress and get to my event. Asst. Gm said there was a room I could use to shower. And that they would compensate me for my trouble by not raising my rate that night (Saturday) even though it was scheduled to raise. I said "No, my rate was same Fri. and Sat. Asst. GM said no I was wrong. I said, "I have the e-mails plus I checked rate when I checked in." Asst. GM put her hands on hips and said, "Well then, you will have to show me." I replied that this was not a problem. So Asst. GM led me 5 doors down the hall to GET THIS- a 2 queen bed room that had been unoccupied all night despite multiple replies to my requests for room change that there were none of that room type available as were sold out. Needless to say I let her know she had not been truthful. Finally called Marriott customer care for assistance which was so helpful. Plus Asst. GM had the nerve to call me after I left hotel to get to my event to find out when I would be moving my belongings to the new room. I told her that I would not return until event over. I had plans to be back at this hotel in November but have cancelled. Asst. GM did not ever apologize. Unfortunately not a great rep for Marriott hotels. P.S. Saturday morning I ran into the couple with their 2 grands as they were getting into elevator moving from their room to a handicapped room. This hotel DOES NOT represent that which Marriott stands for cross their brands.
My family decided to drive to Kentucky to see the total eclipse in August, nade plans last minute and found this hotel to stay the night before. Made reservation 4 days before and hotel had availability, when we arrived hotel turned out to be full. Glad I planned in advance. Never staying at a Fairfield Inn before I did not have high expectations (I normally stay at a Marriott brand with a higher level of amenities). I was pleasantly surprised , this was a wonderful clean hotel. The rooms were as nice as the higher brands, only difference I noticed was the lobby being small but functional, and less services available to the guest. Overall I was extremely please with this hotel. I would recommend anyone who needs to be in Terre IN, to consider this hotel.
I usually stay at a Fairfield if I can. This hotel is one of many in a small area. Check in was good- the staff was nice. There are many places to eat that you can walk to. But as far as the room, it was not what I expected. It was clean but not fancy. It was also very noisy. That only matters because I paid more for the room than had I used another hotel in the same area. Next time I will stay somewhere else for less.
This is in a good location, and a nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the standard fare for any Fairfield. Nice area to eat though that was not in a high traffic zone.
Handy location and very friendly, helpful staff, knowledgeable of local area. Clean, quiet room, typical Fairfield Inn amenities. If I use the same route in the future I will be sure stay there again.
