We stayed here for one night on our way to southern Indiana. Will not make that mistake again. While it is not the hotel's fault there was a noisy kid pounding the floor all night, they did not enforce a quiet policy. They need to take a cue from Homewood Suites as they make their guests sign a quiet policy contract. I didn't get much sleep and they comped my room, but, as a result, I almost had a wreck and my grand niece almost drowned. Never again. My grand niece is a hyper kid too, but I kept her quiet at our hotel down the road. It can be done! If I could keep her quiet, those people could have been more considerate. Will never stop in this town EVER again.
After a grueling 15 hour day on the road all we needed was a place to lay our weary heads, Fairfield in Terre Haute delivered and more, very friendly staff, super comfy beds and a delicious breakfast to boot. Thank you so much for the attentive service. God bless.
Another Fairfield Inn that provides the quality of stay with comfortable sleeping rooms. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. Check-in was fast with friendly staff members at the front desk. My one disappointment is that the hotel does not offer HD viewing. There is another hotel that is being built adjacent to this Inn. There was some construction noise in the morning, but it really did not influence the quality of my stay. I would, however, recommend seeking an even-numbered room facing north rather than the rooms facing the direction of the new hotel.
I don't know why, but I always like it more when I can stay at a Fairfield Inn & Suites. I've liked nearly all of my Marriott stays, but there's always something a little extra nice and comfortable about this particular brand.
I hardly ever travel but unfortunately had a death in my family so staying with you became necessary. I had mentioned when asked the reason for my visit I told her I had a death in the family . I was then given condolences , asked if I needed a later check-out, and told she would do anything she could to make my stay easier. If I remember correctly her name was Holly. Such kindness and sincerity is a rare thing these days and I truly appreciated the gesture. My room was clean and comfortable and I even received a follow phone call to make sure everything was ok. Upon leaving a full buffet breakfast was provided. I never knew a hotel could be so personable. Your staff is exceptional! They made a diffult circumstance a little bit easier.
Nice place. Modest price and it delivers on all fronts. The exercise room is nice and even better than Spring Hill suites nearby. Rooms food etc are good. Convenient to all restaurants. Walk to Cracker Barrel.
Having not stayed at this property in several years, I was pleasantly surprised with the updates that have been made. The boxy, bland breakfast area has been nicely updated and is a lot more welcoming. The sleeping room was also greatly improved with updated decor and many more outlets in the work area. The only tell-tale sign of age is the elevator. It's still has an older look, but functions just fine.
Had a visit wih my son at Rose-Hulman and stayed here due to price and location. The 2 ladies at check in were fantastic. Check in was very quick. Room very clean, comfortable bed. Right next to Cracker Barrel, and many other restaurant options in the area. Had a long day with driving there and walking the college campus. Went to Cracker Barrel for dinner than relaxed for a bit in the hot tub. That was very nice having that option. Shower was nice and hot, with a shower head you can adjust to a massager. Small. Single use ammenities by Paul Mitchell. Breakfast was good. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, waffles, fruit (yes, hey had bananas), cereals, hard boiled eggs, muffins, sausage patties, and other continental breakfast items. Eggs were just about gone 1/2 hoir before it ended and the guy made a fresh batch. If my son chooses Rose, we will probably continue to stay here anytime we are in town. Definitely recommend.
They need to find a 'friendly smelling' cleaning solution. I walked into the room and gagged on the antiseptic smell of whatever they clean with. It was freezing so turned on the heat and left. Other than that, which finally didn't bother me, they had done a really good job of modernizing this older motel. It was lovely and clean and the front desk clerk was so sweet and accommodating. Breakfast was good but watch how hard the bottom of those biscuits get! The clientele that stays here is quiet so I lucked out.
Stayed overnight, just driving through. Seemed to be remodeled fairly recently. Everything was clean and as you would expect at a Fairfield/Marriott property. Didn't do breakfast or anything else while we were there. Heat/AC was pretty noisy, but not obnoxiously so.
