Great location. Walking distance to numerous bars, restaurants, the river walk, and the arena. Plenty of seating at the pool. Stayed for 3 days pool was only packed on Saturday. Room was clean but not super modern especially the bathroom. Restaurants on site were average, but convenient if you don’t want to leave the property. Food was bland at the Mexican spot Lona for example, but bartender was awesome. Would eat off site for better options. JW Marriot is right across the street and connected by sky bridge so you can easily bounce between the two hotels for drinks etc. No issues with staff they were all friendly. Nice property overall mostly paying for convenience and location for what they charge here. Think overnight parking is $50 a night so would recommend using uber/lyft and walking when possible.

Our stay was excellent! The location is lovely. Water street is very nice to walk. If you take it away from Riverwalk, you have restaurants and other retail really nearby. We went a couple of times to get a cappuccino and a pastry (croissant) to a French bakery (part of a restaurant, as well) named Boulon. Their cappuccinos are great. Water street is a perpendicular extension of Riverwalk. Great thing is that you don't have to take any transportation if you want to hang out by Riverwalk. And downtown is almost next door. There is also the Tram station across the main entrance of the hotel facilities. Like I said, location is fantastic. The hotel and its amenities are great. The service is impeccable. We loved the terrace bar, where we had dinner a couple of nights. Their mussels are amazing! I truly recommend you stay at Tampa Marriott Water Street!
