Firstly Tallinn was a fantastic place and we made the best of our accommodation The entrance to the apartment was off a small alley way the that belonged to an adjoining restaurant that we had to pass through where other people were dining and Smoking On one occasion people were talking to 3am and we were unable to sleep and made an out of hours complaint (we were told that we had to be quiet after 11pm) The main bathroom was down stairs, smelly and dirty toilet paper had been left in the bin When we complained I was slightly concerned that reception had a pre-printed apology letter Access to the bed rooms was via a very tight spiral staircase which made it very difficult to take clothes etc. to the upper level There was no outside space, no balcony The reception staff were nice enough and sent in a cleaner straight away but the apartment wasn't in our opinion good enough

Very nice place. Apartment: Cousious, large and the best location in Tallinn. Sleep: Very quiet and good beds to sleep. Kitchen: Well equipped and all the necessary to make food for even larger group.

We spent couple of nights in OldHouse Apartments in June reserved via We never realized together with our friends that we are not going to check in at a hotel but at old shabby apartments across the old town (not very close to each other). The apartments were shabby, not classy as defined in the introduction. The nastiest thing was the breakfast : a basket including toast with very basic filling, orange juice, raw eggs, youghurt and muesli which we were supposed to prepare ourselves with the price 12€/person meaning 96€ for our family for two mornings! Ridiculous! We canceled the breakfast during the first day and returned the basket immediately when possible but we never got any repayment. The basket was not worth of 48€/morning. We ate cheaper in the near-by restaurants. The only positive thing about this concept was the location of the apartments. Overall our experience was very negative, not definitely worth the money we paid!

The location was just perfect, and the apartment was gorgeous. The bedrooms had windows looking into the inner courtyard, and, therefore, were very quiet. There was a functional fireplace, but we didn't have enough time to try it out, especially since it was summer.

Excellent in everyday. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone seeking to visit Tallin. The room was in a central location on the old town. Large room with full amenities in the kitchen and bathroom including sauna. Amazing. Value. Can't wait to come back.

Wonderful place to stay . You can just step out of the door to start exploring Old Tallinn. The tourist info place is just round the corner . Would recommend their free walks to get a feel for the city . Lots of lovely places to eat in the evening and the apartment breakfast basket will keep you going through the day

We had a lovely three day stay in Tallinn at one of the Old House apartments in Vene 23. The space was comfortable, the shower excellent, beds good, pillows average. The welcome at the check-in office on Rataskaevu was warm -- and included a glass of wine while we waited for someone to guide us the 500 m to our apartment. The staff was friendly and helpful. The apartment was well laid out and had good ventilation because all the windows opened. Although we were cautioned to be good neighbors and not make noise after 11:00 pm, we had one night where people in the neighborhood (could have been tourists for sure) were incredibly loud until after 3:30. Even with the double-paned windows closed it was difficult to sleep -- and we didn't know how to call the police to complain. (None of that is Old House's fault, of course.) Some things that could be improved: The doors & keys were not easy to work -- once as we were leaving we found another poor guest outside the door who'd been trying to get her key to work for about 15 minutes. But, we certainly felt secure as a result! One of the bedside lamps in the larger bedroom is missing its shade.

The apartment was lovely and located right on the market square, but it was directly over a noisy club or party room at a restaurant. This was apparently a celebration week in Tallinn, perhaps a graduation week? In any event, both nights of our stay, there was extremely loud music in the club that shook the apartment until midnight. The first night, music also started up again at 3 am, although it may have been from a different club. I called the front desk, but was unhelpfully told that it was my responsibility to call the police if I was bothered. Old Town Apartments has several buildings in the area; I would highly recommend requesting an apartment that is NOT in the market square, which presumably do not have the same noise issues.

The wc light doesn,t work correctly and shower was not so good asswell and airconnection does,t work and clean was almost okay tv voice is too low and the reception people was helpfull and very frendly

Was in the city with my friend and two children. Booked one of the top-priced rooms, with two bedrooms and a living room. Needed a relaxing week-end. Nice location and nice hotel we felt first. WRONG! Well, there was a night club/ restaurant party venue below the bedrooms and so loud music until 02:00 that not one of us slept that night. Luckily we stayed only one night. AND next morning at the reception they blamed the restaurant and took no responsibility what so ever for the inconvenience. We ended even paying the 6 euros for two beers that we had from the mini-bar. Nothing was given or offered as "pay back" (breakfast etc. would have been nice). "we are so sorry, but it s not us" -type of answer did not help. WHY do they not warn the visitors. I would have never payed that high of a price for a hotel room with a risk like that, when travelling with children. Bad service, bad experience. Not to be recommended!
