I was really disappointed because of the breakfast. I have gluten and lactose free died and my friend did send the hotel messiage about that and they promised that it was ok. At the first morning I was asking about my food the staff didn't even listen my sentence to the end and didn't told me anything adout the food. Just gave me 2 litle piece of bread and later 2 more because I was hunry and couldn't eat anything else besides vegetables. I didn't know what was in those other foods and I didn't dare to ask from the staff because her behavior. On the second morning the staff told me that there isn't even that bread to me and thats it. They didn't even say that they were sorry. If you know that your costumers have died you should prepare to that because your costumers are expecting that can have what they are expect.
Just a 2 night stay, friendly helpful staff. Good facilities and excellent base - very conveniently situated. Only marred by the fire alarm / or some alarm going off 3 times on the first night! Hence the rating below, otherwise a great place and good value
The hotell was what we we're looking for, a nice and quiet hotell for an overnight. An added bonus was the friendly staff. Overall the hotell was clean and of good standard. The breakfast served was also good, but albeit a bit standard. Here som development could be done, adding something extra. If you vision is to represent Estonia, then maybe some more typical Estonian products could be used and brought out in a way that the customer understands it.
I have visited now six times in Hotel Bern. I like the cosy athmosphere of a small hotel. Staff is helpful. The hotel is near everything - Mere puiestee tram- and bus-stops, Old town centre, Rimi, just some minutes to walk. Your breakfast is delicious, fresh vegetables, cold cuts and scrambled eggs. And THE BEST PORRIDGE in Tallinn. Please give more attention of the bathrooms, are tidy, but need renewing: sewers give little smell, and the toilets don't always work properly. In summer "The Red Emperor" causes fierce noise sometimes.
Overall, the hotel is very good including breakfast, staff, clean. The network bandwidth of Wi Fi is limited accessible for online chat (e.g., Line) when room is distant from the reception counter. Furthermore, when snowing, the sound of that snows fell down at window is very noisy and is difficult to sleep.
Toilet stinks. You promised to bring us a ventilator, because the air conditioning was broken, but we never got a ventilator. The room was hot, too hot! It was A piti, because we liked the hotelli during out previous visit about two years ago.
The position is excellent for visiting the old town and main amenities however the forniture in the rooms is sufficient, with the moquette which i don't like in general because it's not hygienic, The toilet is quite small without the shower tray so the water floods the rest of the bathroom. There is only a general soap to use. Breakfast is in the average/good.
Perfect location, close to the city center and easy to reach by public transport. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean, only in the bathroom, a border for the bathtub will provide a better use of the bathroom without having it full of water after showering. I highly recommend this location.
Best location, close to the old city and bus stop for airport line. very kind staff in the hotel (fast checkin/out) and people at desk very friendly. the main problem is the room: very very very bad smell in the room, unconfortable bed and batrhoom.
Hotel Bern is right nearby Tallinn old town. It is a good 3 stars hotels and I would recommend to those who are travelling on a medium budget. You can easily reach all mean venues from this location. Breakfast is fine and staff is helpful and kind. Rooms are simple and on average standard.
