it was such a pleasure to stay in such a warm and charming hotel with this courteous, kind, and efficient stay personnel to take care of us.There were two of us, I myself left on the 15 July, and my nephew is still staying with the hotel, he will be there until the August 12. the excellence of the staff clearly reflects the hotel management and leadership.

good price and friendly service. nice clean room. we had deluxe room and it is huge room for taipei hotel. you cannot beat the location. it is ealking distance to main train station, MRT, shaopping, restaurent...the best is lots of massage place around. We enjoyed the breakfast at Yoshinoya but there is no coffee there. definitely will stay at this hotel again.

There were many pros to this hotel, namely, good service at the reception desk, comfortable rooms that were clean, central location but with good security to the building and rooms, free hot beverages and access to laundry machines for a small cost. The downside was the breakfast, I think it should stipulate on booking sites if the hotel provides a breakfast voucher where you have to go outside of the hotel to eat. From my experience this always means a poor breakfast, as was the case this time, unfortunately. We went and ate at Dante coffee, where the voucher only entitled us to choose from a few basic options. I ended up with a some cranberry bread and staff were even reluctant to provide some butter. My husband had a breakfast muffin which was very small and contained very cheap sliced cheese and reconstitued ham. Our tea was also not good. If a hotel claims to provide breakfast it should ensure customers can ideed have a 'meal' not a tiny snack. In order to cater for westerners tastes, this hotel would be better off sourcing some good quality breakfast breads, coffee and fresh fruit and providing in-room breakfast basket, as this particular coffee shop's breakfast is letting them down. If it wasn't for this, I would have scored the hotel higher.

Very convenient location. The room is compact, but clean and functional. Great staff! Only down side is the street noise, but it comes with the convenient location. Also, I can't connect my laptop to the hotel wifi, and no technical help because of the holidays in Taiwan.

Room is big enough for 3 luggages. 2 super single beds, extremely comfortable bed, we slept till 9am and by the time we went for breakfast at 9.30, there was nothing left except bread. No replenishment. Toilet is big, though shower head water current not that strong. Wifi good. Will stay here again at next visit. However, I notice that other Orange hotel (ie Taichung) not as new as this.

Located at city centre, it is an convenient place for staying overnight at US$80 before transit to the eastern coast. You can walk through the underground subway linked to the MTR and exit at M5 for access. However, u may found the room a little too packed compared to other hotels not direct at the city metro.

Our room is deluxe double room 15 sqm - Free wifi provided - Free breakfast with choice of Dantee Coffee (Kaifeng street) available from 7am to 10.30am or Yoshinoya 5am to 10.30am - Dantee Coffee has vegetarian choices - Room is small but quite comfort - Good if 2 more pillows provided (not sure whether can request additional pillows) - Within walking distance to taipei station, convenience shop is just nearby

I took two hotels near the Taipei railway station. This one rated second. Facilities are older. Staffs are helpful but average standard. Its 3-star hotel price is still acceptable as it is in a convenient location. There are a number of eateries around. And also a Japanese style department store.

It is a great place to stay for a few days, the room I stayed at is very "orange", as the hotel name suggests. The staff are friendly, the place is quite central, you can get to the convenient shops easily.

Location was very convenient, close to Taipei main station, easy to travel around with MRT, TRA, buses and HSR. Lots of eateries around the hotel, and there is a delicious beef noodle stall in one of the alleys. Breakfast coupons were given and you could choose Yoshinoya or Dante Coffee (bread, sandwich, coffee). Downside was food had to be self collected and seats were on second storey, which proved a little challenge for elderly to climb up and down.
