My 6th trip to taipei and my second stay at this amazing hotel. Let me tell you why - service!! First stay my Son vomited at the room when we just reached around 8pm.I called for help and they send someone up to totally clear up the room nicely and told me to let them know if the smell is still there. Next thing I know, they send porridge for my Son cause they realised that my Son wasn’t well. Second stay - knowing that my 3 months old girl will be coming this round. A warmer, sanitizer, cot and bath bath was prepared with me ( and the rubber ducky along with the bath bath!!) - I forgot to request for shaver and I called them at 11pm to help me prepare so that I can come collect next day. Next time I know, within 10 mins, they send it to me at my room with shaving cream. Go the extra mile. You guys fully demonstrated that and the spirit of Taiwanese - 人情味 or the warm human heart. Without a doubt you guys will always be my choice when I return to taipei. Well done team amba!

Stayed 5 nights at AMBA Taipei Ximending. We took the large twin room for 2 of us. Spacious, bright & clean. Good that the toilet & bath room were separated. Good water pressure & flow. Would be more convenient if the toilet has a bidet facility. Toiletries, eg shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, body lotion, toothbrush & toothpaste were supplied on first night. Supply was not replenished automatically. Need to request when supply runs Low. Bed & pillows were not comfortable for us. Hotel is within short walking distances to food, variety of shops & Ximen MRT. Hotel breakfast was a good spread. On daily basis, two food items were rotated. Serving staff were pleasant and would replenish the food supply constantly. A pity that they would not go to the extra mile to delight the customer. My mother love to dip uncut ‘you tiao’ (fried chinese cruller ) with her coffee. The serving staff told her flatly that all the you tiao were pre-cut & not able to accommodate her request. Being 5 days there, it would be a special touch if they could delight my mother with the request for at least 1 day. After all, the you tiao is served on a daily basis for the chinese porridge.

We came back to this hotel again because of its location and exceptional services provided by the front office, especially from Mr Mark Li. Mr Li was very attentive to make sure our stay was pleasant and enjoyable ! Would keep recommending to our friends and colleagues. Tips: they tend to be sold out during peak season, book early to avoid disappointment !

This is a comfortable hotel in a popular pedestrian area. There are many shops and restaurants in the immediate area and the metro is not far away. I was in room 708 which was spacious and well-appointed. There was a little noise from the streets, but it did not disturb me. The breakfast buffet was lavish and every day there were changes and new items appeared. The staff at the front desk was particularly friendly and helpful to a non-Chinese-speaker like myself. The entrance to the hotel is a little difficult to find, down the side of a large building, through a sidewalk cafe, then up to the fifth floor. There’s a doorman at the bank of elevators to guide you. This hotel was an excellent choice for me.

Located at the heart of Ximending, we were spoilt for choices of food and shopping. We booked 2 medium king size bedrooms and we found the rooms and bathrooms are spacious with good amenities. Beds and pillows are comfy and provided good rest after full day of touring around Taipei. Staff are friendly and efficient too!

Comfy room with everywhere in the distance just a few steps from MRT Ximen. The staff is very helpful. The staff also helped booking the restuarant for us. If have a chance to visit.Amba also be the top priority.

We stayed here for 3 nights during CNY, rooms are spacious and clean, staff are polite and helpful. It is located in the heart of Ximending, but surprisingly, it's quite inside the hotel. Breakfast is good too. Check-in and check-out is smooth. Its concierge arranged a birthday room decoration and help to order and deliver a birthday cake to my room very punctually, we are very happy with that. Hotel service is excellent!

We stayed in this neighborhood for teh first time and we visit Taiwan once in a year or similar for business. I liked this hotel. It was clean, efficient, adequate and polite staff. The plus point was to come back after a long day of work and be able to just stroll out for a beer or some food or some junk shopping from the open night market. I would go back.

The location is in middle of Ximending and the decor is quite nice and hipster style decor. The room is big enough with toilet and shower split. The breakfast is mixed with Asia and western style and tasty. It is easy to go around with subway or taxi. Many restaurants is near by so you can choose what you want to eat. Only some complaint is housekeeping seems not pay attention to refill the stuff . Although the hotel is located at heart of the tourist place , it stills quite without noise . With the reasonable and good location so it is not a bad choice to stay this hotel. All of the hotel staff is nice and helpful is a big plus.

Stayed here for 3 nights towards the end of my trip and chose the "Large King Room". Check-in was a breeze and I was pleasantly surprised by the good layout and size of the room. The room was clean and I must say the bed was huge! I had breakfast included, but I probably didn't need it as there are plenty of food options around (including nightly street vendors). The hotel is located right in the heart of Ximending, which is great for shopping well into the night and only a 5 minute walk to Ximen metro station. Had a great relaxing stay.
