Love the interior design. Villa room - spacious and comfort, great B & O audio system! Washroom clean and neat! Location is great, heart of Ximending district, can eat and have massage late night. Sales representative Jimmy Chen provided very good & efficiency service!
We stayed here for 4 nights. The facilities have exceeded our expectations. We love the common reading and coffee area where we can meet our friends to talk and have some fruits and snacks. The location is convenient.
Located right in the middle of ximendeng. Walking distance to subway station. Only 1 stop away from taipei main station. Staff was very nice and helpful. No problems with communication. We found Sasha from the front desk in particular to be excellent. The standard rooms were on the mofe cozy side. But the room smelled nice. The decor was tasteful. The guest products were nice quality. We would stay here again.
Stayed here for 4 days and we booked the Villa Room. The rooms needs improvement although it is clean. The beds were not comfortable as ended having a bad ache. The shower is nice but should have better water pressure, Should provide better thicker and larger bath towels for the price we paid.
Imagine my surprise when I found a hotel in Ximending which I can actually earn points from! Taipei is notorious for not having chain hotels which causes hotel membership followers like me huge dismay when it comes to maximising our nights. I last stayed at Via Hotel and Westgate and while they were nice, I always thought it would be perfect if I can earn some points at the same time too. So it was literally a no brainer when this property appeared in my Taipei Accor search – a partner hotel! Yay! LOCATION -Located at Xining Nan road, the property is actually not as close to Ximen MRT as my last 2 choices and more alongside the parallel road within 5 mins walking from exit 6. I had my doubts about the walk being 5mins due to the sheer crowd at XMD but there is a choice to walk along the outlying streets if need be. Being at this location also meant it is closer to the Hotel amba side, the similarly happening side of XMD. I got used to it after a while and by the time I left, I agree that the location is really convenient. Anywhere in XMD means you can get anything you want a short walk away so nothing is far. Finally, Xining Nan road means you can stop right outside the hotel if you are cabbing! PRICE – Not exactly the cheapest option in XMD at TWD 25,800 (SGD1,165) + TWD (SGD220) for their biggest room the VIP room with an extra bed + breakfast for 3pax for 4nights. But doesnt matter since I’m a hotel membership slave. CHECK-IN – fast and fuss-free. They already had the extra bed set up in the living area so that was good. But no explantion about the guests’ lounge cum breakfast area on level 2. ROOM – My VIP room, 408, stood at 50SqM and felt a bit tight for 3pax but adequate space. Cleanliness could be improved but furnishings were modern and clever use of most spaces. L’occitane toiletires were evidently missing but I also realised that the mention has been taken off their website. But the strange design about the bathroom is that it has no doors! Yup, you read it right. NO DOOR. So from the foot of queen bed in the bedroom is the open rectabgular entrance into the bathroom. And you see the sink to the left, the shower to the right. And right after that is the toilet. And this means, whoever happens to be unfortunately sittiing / lying on the correct side of the bed gets to see the bathroom actions. Now, for couples, sure, it can be lomantic. But for family of 2 ladies + 1 guy, it is really awkward. I wished they have this ‘unique design’ stated upfront of their website. So I asked the front desk about it and they said they see couples of 2pax booking this room type most times so no one voiced any issues so far. But to their credit, they came by to offer me 2 large opague plastic sheets – they scotchtaped the sheets together and taped the entire thing to the ceiling of the entrance. It solved the issue for me. WHAT TO DO / SURROUNDINGS – when in XMD, there’s pretty much nothing you can’t do. Everything is everywhere and the crowd is pure madness. It will take a while to orient amongst the weaving lanes and then you’ll be good to go. BREAKFAST – served at the lounge area on level 2, there’s a decent spread of items for a simple breakfast but don’t expect an egg station. Some local touches like braised meat rice are available as well. But small area so do come by early! SERVICE – Pleasant all round and thumbs up to their “toilet door service”. CHECK-OUT – Fuss-free and swift. I would probably try another hotel next time if Accor has another partner hotel as there are not enough draws for me to lure me back again. But a good experience nonetheless!
被酒店的環境驚喜到了！大堂很漂亮，員工都很有禮貌。最重要的是房間夠寬敞和干淨整齊。性價比夠高，我們都很喜歡！一定會再入住！We’re surprised by the hotel environment! Lobby is fancy , staff is friendly. Most importantly the room is spacious and very tidy. Price is competitive, Loved it so much! Will definitely visit again!!!
Stayed for 3 nights in Inhouse Heritage during early December. Hotel was well located - a 2 minute walk and you'll be in the heart of Ximending. It's located next to SPAO, a well known Korean store endorsed by SM celebrities. You will be able to conveniently shop and dump your loots in the hotel and head back out again. The hotel is also located between 2 hotpot restaurants (2-min walk) - the popular and value for money Ma La Hotpot restaurant. Hotel room was decent. Had all the basic amenities required for a comfortable stay. The toilet was huge, spacious and clean. I thought the space could have been better utlized i.e the living space could have been bigger at the expense of the toilet space. Lighting in the room could be improved - a little too dim in my opinion. The carpeted flooring needs better maintenance, it looked like it hasn't been shampooed for a while. I presume space is a premium in Ximending, as the corridors are rather narrow - slight difficulty to navigate large suitcases. Rooms are also located in very close proximity to each other - you can hear very clearly when your neighbour leaves or enter their rooms (not a problem for me but something to consider for those who like their privacy). Breakfast was decent with different varieties everyday. There's only one lift which serves the entire hotel. Just be prepared to wait a little (average 2-3 mins) during peak hours to board the lift. Otherwise it's rather efficient. Lobby is nicely decorated and welcoming after a long day out in the streets of Taipei :) Service staff were extremely polite and greeted guests whenever they leave or enter the hotel. Overall, a nice modern boutique hotel in a prime location for the common tourist.
The service is good, the room is small but warm. I lived in the 10th floor, it was very noisy until the midnight, the road downstairs is under construction. The hotel is very close to Ximen MRT, about 3 minutes walk.
The hotel was great. There were only 2 things which could be better. We were there for business reasons. The room itself gave us less opportunities to work, only 1 table and 1 chair in a double room and the hight of the table and hight of the chair doesn't fit well. So we worked while sitting in our beds or using the breakfast room for our office. Second thing was the breakfast. From Asian side well prepared but for Europeans to less bread and possibilities. Everything else was perfect.
Spent two nights at this hotel, first night with my parents, which was cramped for 3 beds. Having my own room on the second night was much, much better, and I could actually enjoy the hotel more. The double bed was quite comfortable. Despite being the middle of a city, the room was quiet with nice ambiance. A nice breakfast with hot and cold food, both eastern and western style food choices was included. This hotel is very centrally located, close to the subway and shopping area/night market. My brother and his wife booked this hotel, as they visit Taiwan quite often. They chose well, and I'd say that, should you be looking for a hotel that's centrally located in Taipei, this is a good choice.
