We stayed just one night in this modern hotel near the airport in Papeete. The price was reasonable, the room was large and elegantly appointed, the restaurant was expensive, but excellent, the staff was helpful and friendly. The gardens, bar and infinity pool are all beautiful.
stayed an extra day after a cruise of the french polynesian islands. the location was slightly out of the way but not bad, the room was clean but there was no US 115v electric supply and they had no transformers so we could not shave or charge our computers or cell phones.
The hostel is very clean and it is in an excellent location. It is 2 minute walk to Tahiti market and 5 minute walk to the ferry terminal. Everything is excellent except for the bunk beds. The bunk beds are a little bit too old. If the someone tosses, the whole bunk bed shakes.

This hotel has perfectly located . The water is unbelievable beautiful. This is a must go go place.
The hotel has a great view of the lagoon and the mountains. It is very clean, and easy access to the lagoon and beach. However, the facility is just in Okay condition. There are not much going on for the evening activities. The choices for the food are limited since there is only two restaurants and one bar (they claim it's another restaurant which only serves crepes). The services at the restaurants are somewhat slow. However, the view is worth visiting.
We needed a room near the ferry and this fit the bill. Nothing fancy but if you need an inexpensive option I would recommend Chez Vous a Papeete
The Le Velvet restaurant in this hotel serves delicious French cuisine, open for lunch and dinner.
