It old hotel but it good for business trip or place to stay till your flight or cruise starts Food would skip, it ok breakfast but that about it Tahiti Sunday and Monday, most Restaurant are closed

Great, helpful staff. Close enough to walk to city center, market, water front. Restaurant w fee @ hotel & many nearby. Reasonably priced. Shuttle to & from airport. Cool room w comfy beds. Hotel is older version not modern. Will do for overnight stay to catch up on sleep before departing for vacation. They speak English. You can exchange $$ @ hotel or bank atms on corner.

Pros: - The staff here was very friendly. Even though French is commonly spoken, English was also spoken. - Room was clean for the most part, but wall had a few holes that could have used some patching. - There was a nightly food truck right next to the hotel. Cons: - During our first night, we saw a roach crawling around that we were able to get rid of. - The property is not situated next to other hotels or other tourist hot-spots, and as such, walking around at night was a bit questionable as the area gets pretty dark at night. FYIs: - Power to room is cut off as soon as you leave as the electronics (i.e a/c) require the key card to be inserted into a slot to be powered on. Do not leave perishable food in the fridge if you plan on leaving for an extended period of time. It will rot. - Hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the Papeete Market and Roulettes (food trucks). - For the cost, this hotel did the job.

Hotel was in a not so great area but it was close to the ferry terminal. We only stayed one night and then walked to the ferry. The room was fine and had a big bathroom with soap and shampoo provided. The hallways were dark and we arrived late at night. There was breakfast for a fee but we did not eat at the hotel

Walked in walked out in 5 mins. Lights in hallways. Room was awful.

Decent for a good sleep after long flight, very quiet at night, breakfast was expensive for a continental breakfast plus a few extras.

This place was a good find for a three-day layover.

Hotel reneged on our reservation. Transferred us to a run down apt. 20 miles from downtown.

I enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable. I felt safe, the distance was nice and close to the town, market, etc. Clean, accommodating, appreciated the free airport pick up and arrangements to drive back to airport when I left. I appreciated the luggage storage. I like this hotel.

Nice place and near to everything. Safe. Very great and helpful staff. Many thanks

Nice clean hotel, clean room, A/C is not big enough to cool room. Restaurant hours are not consistent and does not serve any meat.

The location was good and a few blicks awayfrom the ferry to Moorea and cruise terminal. I pulled 2 suitcases over there in 10 minutes. Restaurant was clised, however there are plenty of food choices within walking distance. The room was OK for one nights stay before cruise. Not the best neighborhood.

Well, the hotel has an old school charm about it with wooden floors and lots of Tahitian themes in decorations. I was nice.

I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

I had 2 separate stays at Hotel Sarah Nui on my vacation. I emailed in advance and all of my airport transfers were scheduled perfectly. Transfer to the hotel from the airport is free, however return taxi is at a set fee. Both rooms were clean, comfortable, and acceptable for short term stay. Only 1 of the rooms had a refrigerator, only used at night since you must be in the room for air and refrigerator to work. The hotel is on the edge of downtown and close to ferry terminal, so you must walk or taxi to locations to eat or shop. The walk is about 15 minutes. No views or pool, I did not go out at night since everything around hotel is closed by evening but understand generally very safe in French Polynesia. You can also order for delivery, front desk has menus. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful during both of my stays. My only complaint would be lack of lights in the hallways. It makes it difficult to find and open the room door, also sort of spooky for single woman traveler.

The rates were very cheap, and the hotel reflect just that. No hot water(not even warm), our sliding doors wouldn't lock, wooden floors are warped and squeaky, and absolutely no dining options except to catch a cab into town. Next time, we will pay the higher dollar for a better hotel.
