It was away from the main city, quiet and beautiful. Our room overlooked the beach and the pool was amazing. Staff was very friendly, the food was good and the room was awesome.

The staff was great. Friendly, helpful, always willing to go the extra mile. They gave me an upgraded room, which was very nice. In retrospect, I probably should've declined it. I'd reserved an ocean view room; I got upgraded to a suite - the living room was ocean view, the bedroom was not. The bedroom, in fact, was "construction view," and the construction noises woke me each morning at 6 a.m. Meantime, the ocean view living room had only peaceful ocean noises. The property is showing wear. Various things didn't work (the knob to open/close the louvered window, the living room sofabed), other things didn't work well (the living room a/c unit was much better than the bedroom one). But the staff did everything they could. When I was coming downstairs to check out, I discovered the elevator was out. I called the front desk and the woman who answered wrote my room number on her hand and ran up to my room to help carry my luggage down the stairs. That's this hotel in a nutshell -- the place may have issues but the staff will do everything they can to overcome them.

Sitting on a lovely black sand beach, the Pearl has access to a nice pool and the beach. They offer daily shuttles to Papeete which allow for easy exploration of the town. Friendly service all around.

20 min taxi from the airport. Calm beach black sand. Dolphins playing the day we left. Staff was very very friendly and accommodating. Very meh resort but they don’t claim to be more. Solid 4 star review.

One word describes it all: Heavenly. Heavenly out of this world

Beautiful views and very friendly staff and tasty breakfast. Tons of flies at breakfast and extremely slippery cooridors — dangerous to anyone who uses a cane or crutch(es).

Location is beautiful but very little to do and only one place to eat/bar. Staff were not terribly friendly.

Good location, food / breakfast and restaurant/ nothing special but expensive

Great staff. They were all super helpful. Room was amazing - we were upgraded!

This hotel has a lot of potential, but it needs some serious TLC!! The staff was great, location a little far from airport, and the grounds/rooms can be amazing if they updated the rooms, definitely needs new mattresses etc and the outside area needs some work. View was gorgeous though! Room service for dinner was great, breakfast not so much!

Hotel was clean, food was decent, nice pool area and view of bay with black sand beach (public); very nice Polynesian show during dinner.

A great place to stay and eat while in Tahiti, nice pool and beach, great food.

Perfect stay on the beach and close to town and the airport. Nice classic old style feel with nice modern upgrades. I recommend suite number 1201.

The scenery id beautiful but the hotel needs a major upgrade. The rooms are very outdated, the door knob fell off our bathroom door, the curtains would not close and the internet could not be used unless you were in the lobby. The staff was not accommodating or friendly. The breakfast buffet was awful, it was never refilled and there was no organization to the flow. The lunch and dinner menu was ok, however the servers did not provide good customer service. I do not recommend this hotel to any US travelers, you will b disappointed.
