Ultimate Apartments Bondi Beach

A roof over my head but not a great deal more. The room was modern but very basic. Not particularly clean. There was a pube on the shower wall! The cutlery was dirty in the draw and horrid stains on the bed sheets. The air on didn't work either.I stayed for 4 nights and the reception was never manned.

First impressions of this accomodation may tempt you to reach for the gear stick, select reverse and back out faster than you pulled in. Don't be so hasty.. I'm sure this place would've looked awesome in the early seventies but inside, the apartment we stayed in was quite clean, comfortable and had everything that was needed to ensure a happy stay. You will however need to overlook the overly grumpy permanents with the death states aimed at the sometimes happy and noisy kids and all the signs here saying, don't do this, don't do that etc and the awesome sun deck that disallows music, drinking and general happiness...Seriously!! Overall, this place is close to Bondi beach, has secure parking and for the price is good value! You don't go to Bondi to hang out at the apartment do you..

I was charged for 2 telephone calls that I have not dialled. One of the staff was very sure that me or my friend had made those phone calls. She came across judgemental and insisted that i should be responsible for it. The response from my friend was delayed, and the staff did not wait till it has been confirmed, rather insisted i should be paying for it now. And i felt pressured to pay for the bill. Also felt mistreated, angry, disappointed and upset since she did not believe me. Overall, i ended my weekend trip feeling more exhausted than before, and it certainly wasn't a pleasant experience. The property later on found out they had a computer problem, and one of the other staff did email back, apologised and explained, which made me feel better. I would not particularly recommend it. but if you are after budget (lower range compared to other places in the area) accommodation at a convenient location, the this may be for you. and good luck.

This is by no means a fantastic apartment, at best it is a below average motel room. We got a twin share room. There were minimal amenities (not even milk or tea bags) and no service whatsoever. I don't even think we were greeted by a staff member ever. Mismatched furniture, dirty looking quilt covers, horrible fluro green "feature" wall. Dirty bathroom, in need of a major renovation. Even the vending machine outside was bad - it took my money without giving me my bottle of water. The only positives: the location is good, it's a short walk to the beach, as well as the pool was clean, albeit small and in the middle of a car park haha!

Just a 10 minutes walk from the beach, is this place located. The room is perfect with a little pentry, a couch, wardrobes and bathroom. There is a little pool at the center, clean and nice water. There's also opportunities for laundry, in a clean and big laundry room. Just around the corner you'll find the first cafés and restaurants. This is a place you could stay in for a long time.

This is a budget hotel, I would class it as a motel, about 1km from Bondi Beach, only 10min walk up. It's one of the less expensive accommodations in Bondi, but I wouldn't stay here again, I would pay more to stay somewhere better, but unfortunately we had to book last minute. The walls are paper thin, we could hear all the noise from next door & I couldn't sleep for most of the night. The bed wasn't comfortable either. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Stayed from 29 Nov. to 2 Dec. Paid $457. The room is very tired, and outdated. Sure, there is a tv (flat screen 24"), Queen bed with bad mattress, extremely noisy airco (style 1970). Hotplate c/w necessary pots and pans, as with dishes, etc. Toaster had seen better days. Good thing is the free parking, locked. Small pool, for kids. No cleaning of room. WIFI costs $5 per day. But had the dongle, so free for me. If yr not fussy, then this is for you. I'll pass next time.

We used these apartments as a base staying for 8 days to begin with and then checking out and returning 4 days later for another 3 days. The reception staff were very helpful and were happy to store luggage for us whilst we were away. We had informed them that we would be checking in after their reception desk had closed and they provided with instructions on how to enter the property which were very easy. The location of these apartments is brilliant. Only a couple of minutes walk to Bondi Beach and with a bus stop just across the road getting into places like Circular Quay etc. couldn't be easier. The rooms are a little basic but adequate (although we could of done with some larger microwavable bowls!) My main issue was that in the first stay we were in a downstairs room and there was no bug screen on the bathroom window or any way to close it. This meant that every time you put the bathroom light on you were swamped by moths. This was not a problem in the upstairs room we had on our return as the windows were sealed shut with an extractor fan mounted on it. We did have a small issue with some ants in the shower but (as the reception desk was closed) we went to the nearest convenience shop and purchased some ant spray which dealt with them effectively and we didn't have a problem with them after this. As we dealt with this ourselves we didn't feel it necessary to complain to the staff but do feel from speaking with them they would have dealt with it if required. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay near Bondi in a slightly cheaper room.

Booked a couple of rooms for a Friday night, which was fine. Location is superb (about 400 meter to the beach) and security for off-road parking is perfect but the rooms are a little dated and we had problems finding anyone after-hours to sort out a TV problem.

This accommodation is quite basic - clean, quiet & secure off street parking. But the highlight of this place is it's close proximity to all the great amenities of Bondi - restaurants, cafes, beach etc... This is not a place where one luxuriates in a grand room - this is all about making the most of what is outside your door. Awesome location!
