this is a casino posing as a hotel if you are a light sleeper or get a room above said casino good luck to you it is so noisy and goes till 4 am. the rooms are presented nicely but that is about all thats good. Dont bother with the restaurant or bar the service is shocking and the food is rough at best

The proprty is within reasonable distance from Sydney's landmarks. Commuting in Sydney is great with public transport. There is a train station, bus stations in that area. The Area is considered relatively quiet, although the Hotel has a casino and Bottler shop. It is for adults only as I have seen reviews from people who were not aware. The rooms are nice with windows and airconditioners. However, not all rooms are on-suit. Some rooms dont have neither toilet nor shower and clients would need to use shared Toilet or shower, one at a time. Expedia doesn't clarify this on their wbsite when you book it through Expedia, and you might end up in a room with no toilet nor shower. This is what happened to me, but the managers at Riverwood Hotel were eventually reasonable to provide me an en-suit room although they claim that Expedia has booked me the type of room that comes with no toilet nor shower.

Excellent stay

Excellent place to stay - the double room was so comfortable & clean, has everything you need. Easy to get into town on the train & facilities are brilliant. Toiletries, towels & coffee provided which was a big plus. Couple of cobwebs here & there in the bathroom & can be a little bit loud at night, but with some earplugs you’ll have the best sleep of your life. Will be staying again.

I had stay 4 times. Im happy with 3 last times. But this time not really good. One time i going holiday I just want a good sleep, but 2 night stay its was terrible 😔 with me, next my door they noise night time, house keeping noise at 10am, they clean and they talking they laughing, otherwise i saw them leave towel, cover sheet underground, event after that they washing so clean but still have bad images in my mind. The door of room making noise when open and close, they must fix that too easy, to make the quite hotel for everyone stay

This place is cheaply rated so you get what you pay for. On check in, the manager ignored me because he was busy setting up a pool competition at the bar and the counter was unmanned. When I asked if he saw me, he said he did but the competition was more important. I’d flown in from overseas and it was close to 10pm. The shared kitchen had no cutlery and I had to go next door to ask for some and the staff member looked hesitant to provide me with utensils. They provide you with a bar soap which makes no sense if you’re in a shared bathroom because it’s difficult to transport that back. The accommodation area was noisy, other patrons were generally allowed to be noisy and disruptive and management basically left us to it. The shared fridge had food in it that expired in 2024 so I’m not sure it’s getting cleaned at all. Overall it was clean and the bathrooms were cleaned frequently but that’s it.
