The hotel was clean and the lobby was nice. The fixtures and furniture were nice in the room too. There was a lot of construction around the hotel with a new subway station going in but my main issues were the inconvenient entry on the opposite side of the building from the train station, the side coming from the train was closed during some hours and almost never were the elevators accessible from that entrance. The bathrooms look really nicely done but the shower head is installed a good foot too low. Someone who is under 167cm fits but anyone taller has to duck. The bathtub also takes up a lot of space but is narrow and shallow so it’s almost just wasted space. The toilet lid was frustrating too with the outer lid being a soft close lid but the inner seat was not so it would slam shut. The QR code for the in-room dining and minibar never worked. Lastly, I was on one of the higher floors and it would be surprising if any room has a view of any kind. I expected far more from a 5 star rated property.

We arrived mid morning after disembarking from our ship. The room was not ready, but they secured our bags for us so we could enjoy some sightseeing. Upon our return at 3:00 we found a lovely room with our bags already delivered! Top notch service! Great location in Sydney, highly recommend!

We have stayed here before and we had a lovely room, so expected the same this time, we were upgraded apparently but the room was tiny with a very small bed ( we are both tall) and a tiny bathroom , we were up high in the rooof it seemed overlooking a building site and the room smelt very musty, we were very disappointed this time.

I can’t fault the property at all. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Really appreciated an early check in. Close to the train and close enough to walk to circular quay etc. it has an outdoor, pool and spa. The room was spacious and I couldn’t believe how quiet our room was.
