One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! The rooms are impeccable, staff are lovely. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking! The only thing I would say was average was the restaurant at the hotel, for such an amazing hotel the food was really not worth it and a little disappointing. Other than that, well worth a visit. Would stay there again, just wouldn't eat there next time.
Five ladies in Sydney to celebrate a 50th! Stayed in 2 brm apartment with the most magnificent view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House and harbour surrounds........breathtaking. What could out shine all this?... The wonderful staff who catered to our every need during our 7 night stay. All of the staff went out of their way to ensure our many activities were catered for with ease. Thank you! We will definitely be returning as soon as we can. Can't recommend highly enough.
My husband, my parents and I spent one night here in a two bedroom apartment with the most magnificent view of the harbour. We are Sydneysiders but decided to celebrate Easter Sunday here and enjoy our beautiful city. We all really enjoyed the luxurious apartment. We had a delicious dinner delivered to us from a nearby restaurant so that my elderly parents wouldn't have to venture out at night and also so that we could continue to enjoy the glorious view at night whilst dining in our suite. Couldn't fault the apartment or the service - my only negative which wasn't such a big deal was that the buffet breakfast was not really a buffet - some of it was but the rest had to be ordered. I'm not sure if one could order more if they wanted to.
Great location, handy to all the bars, restaurants and tourist sights. The apartment we stayed in was very clean and the view was fantastic. We stayed in room 14/6 and we had a panoramic view of Sydney harbour which included the Sydney harbour bridge and the Opera house. Would highly recommend staying at this location and we will be coming back in the very near future.
Ideal hotel for a holiday in Sydney. Terrific staff, starting with the front desk who got us a room much earlier than expected. And including the lovely Queta in the hotel restaurant. Even the window cleaners were friendly!! Great room, sensational view of the bridge and Opera House and in a terrific location, easy to get to all the prime spots of Sydney. Definitely recommend.
This place is fantastic for a variety of reasons first being the harbour view then the concierge which was Owen our favourite staff member very friendly and great advice and was very lovely to my 7 year old daughter. Love this place and will be back.
The view from our apartment was stunning - the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The location was great - very convenient for bars, restaurants and shops. Could walk to most places which was ideal. The staff were great - friendly and helpful. The breakfast was poor. The choices for the Continental Breakfast were very limited. The staff at breakfast were lovely but, rushed off their feet. The gym was disappointing- too small and had a lack of equipment. We had a two bedroom apartment which was a good size. However, one of the bedrooms was noisy as the pipes for the washing machine for the apartment next door ran along one of the walls. This was a problem when our neighbours put a washing on at 2am - impossible to sleep until the washing machine had finished ... A couple of the kitchen cupboard doors were hanging off and the shower door in one of the bathrooms leaked profusely. Some maintenance was required! We would not stay here again.
We spent two nights in Room 2304, which looked out to sparkling Sydney Harbour: what a magnificent view! It is amazing to look across to ferries zipping across the water, people wandering about the streets below and over to the Opera House area. Our two bedroom, two bathroom apartment had a compact, well fitted out kitchen, laundry and comfortable spacious lounge room. The bathrooms have a modern, clean feel with pleasing bench space. The clean, modern apartment has good wardrobe storage and plenty of mirrors to enhance the feeling of space. Visitors could comfortably set up here and explore the Sydney environs. There are a pool and sauna on the top floor and swimming towels available in rooms. Onsite parking is expensive, but the hotel is well situated near The Rocks, so walking is a good option. Staff at Quay West were excellent: friendly, efficient, professional and able to give exemplary levels of service at all times. Josh from the restaurant went out of his way to find and deliver some herbal teas for me. Quay West must be a nice place to work- all staff seem happy and helpful. The whole place has a good vibe. We felt relaxed and comfortable staying here. A refreshingly very enjoyable hotel stay. Well done Quay West management and staff.
20th floor harbor side great suite with two rooms and a kitchen that does the basics. Daily room service with ice towels, pillows and comfortable beds. Clean with friendly staff. My one quibble is charging for Internet.....you would think that if all of the parks and ferries had free internet a hotel that we paid $400/ night for would provide easily accessible free internet.
I gifted a 2 night stay at the Quay West Suites, Sydney to my sister and brother in law in May 2017. They had a one bedroom king room with harbour view, which was situated on the 13th floor. the apartment was well appointed, modern and clean. The service was absolutely second to none. My sister and brother in law were very impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff at Quay West Suites, Sydney. Congratulations on your excellence Quay West.
