Every aspect of our stay at The Quay West Suites was perfect! Many of the main sights of the city and many restaurants were within a 10 minute walk of the hotel, the suite was spacious, and we completely enjoyed relaxing in the pool on the top floor every night. The concierge was particularly helpful, answering all of our questions and offering recommendations on the best places to eat and explore. While the hotel is not inexpensive, it is more reasonable that the hotels that immediately surround it and I cannot imagine that their service or accommodations could be any better.

I arrived at night and was gobsmacked by the perfect Sydney harbour view right in front of my huge windows. The Harbour Bridge , the Opera House, all the lights. And then the next day, at dawn a cruise ship slid silently into its dock below my window. This is the vista to die for! And the hotel service was friendly and efficient. Breakfast served in the room so I could continue to enjoy the view. A great start to the day. And the room service dinner to me and my three guests was faultless and friendly. A nice touch - they observed that I was using the body lotion supplied in the bathroom, and left me two extra tubes. Nice thoughtful touch. A couple of improvements to suggest - a grab rail in the shower, and salt and pepper in the kitchen.

We visited the quay west suites Feb/mar for a holiday,what a fabulous hotel,we were upgraded to a suite with a opera house view,superb,room was fabulous,really comfy beds,lovely kitchen area and comfortable lounge,really nice friendly staff,would highly recommend.

Suite layout was very good, good sized kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms: plenty of power points for electrical equipment; view of harbour unbelievable; plenty of choice for breakfast: BUT when 4 people are accommodated in the 2 bedrooms there was only lounge seating for 3; no directory of services available and times for facilities such as the gym, pool etc; Access to pool and gym via very difficult spiral staircase which should be mentioned in services of the apartment block; Dinner menu very nice but limited choice; some of the weekend staff during breakfast were quite rude when asked to replenish fruit juices etc and the pastries even though were supposed to be fresh were instead hard, maybe caused by the heating lamp above them.

I surprised my girlfriend with a trip to Sydney to propose to her. I spoke with Beatrice prior to our arrival, she could not have been more helpful if she tried. Upon arrival we were greeted at the taxi by concierge who promptly took our bags directly to our room. Olivia checked us in with a lovely smile and beautiful demeanour. Service here is first class all the way. We stayed in room 2205 the room had a sensational view of both the Opera house and harbour bridge unfortunately the room itself is rather tired and in need of some sprucing up. However everything is functioning. The pool area is on level 23 going swimming with such a beautiful backdrop is simply amazing. The water is lovely make sure you take your swimmers😀 To the management and team we would like to extend our most sincere thanks for playing your huge part in making our weekend truly unforgettable. Thank you❤️ Our photos are taken intentionally of the last day of our trips so other travelers can see real life images without staging.

We arrived with 3 large baggage. Came out from the taxi, there was a staff at the main entrance/door (as she was saying goodbye to other guests that took our taxi) but no hello nor welcome gesture nor assistance from her (when it's so obvious that we are checking into the property). Upon entering the lobby, everything was 'cold'; from the hardware to the front desk staff who just stood there behind the counter without uttering a good afternoon nor any welcome greetings that you expect from any hospitality outlets. Even after checked-in, no staff extended any assistance with our luggage nor directing us on how to get to our room (of course, we saw/know where the elevator is but this is the simplest gesture that should be extended, to feel welcomed). As Accor Platinum card member who have booked/made our reservation sometime in Aug/Sep 2017 for our recent stay in Mar 2018, it also gives ample notice for the property to at least provide the most basic benefit as a Platinum member (perhaps bottled drinking water on arrival day, if not daily). Here, ZERO recognition/acknowledgement; not as a non-member guest, let alone as an Accor Platinum member. Although the view from our room is amazing (as we booked a Harbor view room), the non-existence services and welcome is inexcusable from a property of such category. From the moment we got out of the taxi at arrival till we left the hotel (no departure greeting/assistance etc. that you normally gets from any property). This indeed left us with very bad lasting impression throughout our stay; until today. Definitely not a place to be recommended to our well travelled friends to Sydney!

We enjoyed our stay at Quay West Suites. The location is very convenient as you can walk to many attractions and restaurants. The view of Darling Harbor was wonderful. The reception and concierge desks were very helpful and the staff very personable. We would highly recommend this property to stay at.

Stayed in #2309 one-bedroom apartment with a great view of Darling Harbour. This hotel is expensive but when shared with family members the cost was OK. We were able to leave our baggage in security storage while we spent the morning roaming around the city. Only concern for this site is it is situated on the side of a steep hill...close enough to walk from Circular Quay, but don't walk up to Gloucester St....turn off at Harrington St and enter the hotel via the car park and use the lift to Reception. Do not walk from Wynyard Station as there are steep stairs on Essex St

Stayed here at last minute when previous accommodation advised they had works happening. Choice city views as fitted in my budget and no one bedroom harbour views left. Great location - easy walk to everything. Shame so pricey for harbour view and no late or early check in /out without extra fee even for members. Room good, bed comfy but sofa uncomfy - old and tired. City view faced major road - noise made it hard to sleep. Maybe quieter in harbour view and would like a balcony. Great views from pool floor. Nice indoor pool but limited seating as small area. Overall a great stay. Can recommend apartments but find the money and choice a harbour view apartment if you can as city view too noisy.

Got 2 bedroom suite with great views of Circular Quay. Short walk around Sydney CBD. Distance to Barangaroo and Darling Harbor is manageable. Front desk, Concierge, Valet were courteous and provided great service. Will stay here again when I can back to Sydney with my family.
