We arrived to a lovely pub and were excited. We went up to our room and the rook. Looked nicely made up. Only problem was the shower had not been cleaned the toilet had pee on it and the towels that were neatly rolled and placed on our nicely made bed were soaking wet. It was like they had just come out of the washing machine or somebody had just showered. The pillow cases were also used and covered in make up on the underside. When I went down and complained the staff just laughed and said “it sounds like they missed your room”. The scary part is they made it look like it was freshly cleaned but was not done. So not missed at all but deliberately not cleaned. Great efforts had been gone to to make it look ready for new occupants. Sneaky and gross. How often do they do this? Surely it’s harder work than just cleaning the room. Definitely gross to think about it and sets the tone for the standards of the place. The pub was good with good music but after knowing that they tried to get away with the room like that we didn’t eat there.

The room was very clean, the view was amazing. The interesting part is that the doors and locks were all Bluetooth which was a new experience in itself. I do see a lot of bad reviews about the noise but it seems people don’t read the warnings that there will be noise due to the bars downstairs. And honestly the nose wasn’t that loud. The staff was also very friendly and helpful and I love that they will also hold your bags when you checkout so you can still do some site seeing before heading out. That’s not a perk anywhere I’ve stayed before so thank you for the offer. The food was amazing as well and the beach was only a nice stroll as the neighborhood was beautiful. Would love to stay again.
There may be no elevators but you’re only walking two small flights of stairs.

The room was wildly overpriced for the offering. Live DJs pumping loud music til 1.45am on A Saturday night. If sleepi g 1 floor above a pumping nightclub isnt your jam, walk on by this place. Restaurants around the area far better than the offering in the hotel.

As a professional in the same industry, I was deeply disappointed with the cleanliness standards at this establishment. Upon entering our room, we noticed it was dirty, with hair scattered throughout the bedding. While one of the managers promptly offered us a different room, it turned out to be even worse; the bathroom was in unacceptable condition, featuring mould, hair, and urine on the toilet. Instead of addressing the cleanliness issues appropriately, we were given complimentary drinks, which felt inadequate in light of the circumstances. I expected a form of reimbursement given our experience. It's been four weeks since I sent an email to the manager detailing these issues, and I've yet to receive a response. To add to our dissatisfaction, both my husband and I developed a rash during our stay, which seems particularly concerning since we both experienced it. Considering the significant price of $245 per night, I cannot stress enough that I would strongly advise against staying at this facility based on our experience. It simply did not meet any reasonable standards of cleanliness or service.

Clean, staff very friendly, food good. 9 minute walk to Bondi beach. Over a pub, noisey on weekends but i slept great. No elevator!! Staff did help with our luggage. Room small bit absolutely loved staying there for 5 nights and would do it again.

Great spot, handy to walk around Bondi. It was quite loud as we were near the outdoor seating of the venue, but we had earplugs so it wasn’t too bad. Nice staff and nicely decorated.

I enjoyed my stay greatly. The room was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The room was quiet and being only minutes walk from the cafes and beach of Bondi was excellent. Highly recommended.

Room smelt like bleach and hair all over the floor. When downstairs to see if they can change rooms but no one was at the front desk but my credit card photocopy and license was sitting out for anyone to take. Ended up getting a refund

Lovely basic rooms with really lovely decor and facilities. I also loved the Goki system which made accessing my room and the hotel so easy. I would highly recommend this hotel. The price is somewhat high but not too bad.
