Nice resort to spend with family and kids, good food and clean rooms.

The gardens and property layout are indeed beautiful. There are many buganvelia in a variety of colors all throughout the grounds and many matured trees. Beach and pool areas also very clean. The room quality, on the other hand was very disappointing and rated at most a 2 star level room.

The hotel is really a resort. It is simply beautiful. Three main swimming pools, one, the winter pool, heated to 29°C was so pleasant on the chilly day in March we stayed there. The sea is accessible from the hotel steps, there is an attentive lifeguard on duty who also supplies towels, dead sea mud, and advice on how best to enjoy the unique benefits of the sea.

Clean, lots of pool options, great views from the decks, and a very attentive staff.

Fantastic resort! The location and spa are both great. It's nice being able to walk down to the dead sea and back.

Everything is standard for a 5-star hotel. They are plenty guests and I cannot feel the passion from staffs.

Staff was rude at reception . Not only busy with many customers at same time , but they do not care if you are upset or not . It might be that they are under staffed. Rooms were not ready on time. Food was terrible. Dishes were very dirty. You can see and touch the old food on dishes that you supposed to use . Service was poor. Will never ever stay in this hotel again No enough parking for cars at hotel! Very small parking lot Location of hotel and size of room was good

Family friendly, clean, very organized. It was a good experience in general; however, the food could be a little better.

Were upgraded to a king deluxe room with access to the hot tub. The overall resort is amazing, many pool options overlooking the sea as well as area to bathe on the beach in the dead sea. The pool stayed open till around 9 or 10 which was nice to burn off the dinner & breakfast buffets. Great food. The bathroom was a little old and the tub didn't drain during shower. Overall highly recommend though!

We love this place. Great Spa and wonderful view. I will stay there again. The facility is beautiful and the massage is great.

Cons: food and alcohol too expensive. ATM doesn't work. Pro: Clean but smells funny.

What a disappointing stay. 1. Checked in, key cards did not work. Called reception, they sent someone to let us in and give us a key. He opened the door, then left and didn't give us a key. We called four more times over the next two hours to get a working key. It never came even though every time we were told "Right away, they're coming now." We never had a working key during our visit and had to leave back door to the garden unlocked so we could get in and out of our room. 2. Minibar was empty. We asked for it to be filled at the same time we called for the keys. Eventually it was but it took 4+ hours. 3. Curtains only covered 2/3rds of the window on our ground floor room, allowing anyone who walked by a direct view of our bed, especially at night if we had any lights on. I'm not a prude, but this was pretty ridiculous. We called, and someone from facilities came - then told us it wasn't his issue to fix and that he would call housekeeping, and they would be right there. We waited 45 minutes, then called the front desk, told them that we needed someone from housekeeping to fix the curtains ( I think one was missing or had been pulled down before we got there ). Anyhow, we stayed in the rest of the night and nobody ever came. Par for the course. 4. Our suitcase was broken. We heard something drop as the porters were coming but didn't know it was our luggage. After I had tipped the guys and they'd left, I noticed the corner of our suitcase was mashed in and cracked. I know it had not been cracked or broken when we arrived. 5. We called the front desk three times asking about transportation to the airport the next day. We were put on 5 minute plus hold (and then we hung up) or transferred to a dead-end line every time. 6. We weren't sure if our reservation included breakfast, so we called to ask. Three times. Nobody could answer. We were just put on infinite hold again. We finally found out as we were checking out that breakfast was included. The breakfast was actually pretty good, so this worked out, but we had all of ten minutes before we left to grab a coffee and some fruit. 7. Entire property was englufed by swarming flies. Sunbathing, sitting outdoors, etc was all far from relaxing. I ordered some lunch by the pool and just couldn't finish it - flies were everywhere and I counted 15 (for real!) flies on the blade of my butter knife after i had used it to cut the chicken in my salad. The blade was covered in nasty flies. We tried a few places in the resort, but unless we were inside, it was really bad. We paid JD25 each to go the spa which has some indoor pool areas to escape the flies.They need to spray, fog, fan, etc. Also, lots of mosquitos in our room. Maybe they got a working key ffor our room?. We spent a good deal of time chasing and swatting the little guys before we could sleep. 8. We asked to speak to a manager at check out. They were "in a briefing." We were given a card of an assitant manager that we could email later. While the attendant / check out person was sympathetic, she clearly had no real power and wasn't all that surprised we'd had a poor experience. 9. Path to the "beach" is slippery and rocky. It's not really appropriate for feet or sandals. Sharp rocks, slick and worn wood. Needs to be re-done. 10. Our tub drain was clogged and bathroom was generally not very clean. 11. While the staff was friendly, we thought most folks who worked there were generally clueless and / or had no experience in the hospitality industry. This resort is DEFINITELY NOT a 4 or 5 star property, Don't waste your time or money. Frustrating, disappointing stay.

Great location and staff. Fulfilled our needs for an overnight trip. Wished we could have stayed longer!

It was very easy and relaxing but the food and drink was expensive.

We had a great experience at the Movenpick Dead Sea in Jordan. The pools were great and not too crowded. The rooms were fantastic and the gardens were beautiful. The breakfast was very nice too. Our standard room had a nice large patio behind. It was very kid-friendly as well. Nice playground and pools for the little ones. The only problem we encountered were the flies, which were only really a problem when trying to relax by the pool or eat outside. There were tons of flies, sometimes making it difficult to relax. We actually took our dinner back to the room to escape the flies. Maybe it is just this time of year, hopefully not like this year round. Overall, it was a very nice hotel and the best deal of the Jordan resorts on the dead sea.
