The Hotel lobby, pools and Dead Sea shoreline were all great, with the exception of the top rim of tiles had come off the hot tub! Staff very friendly and efficient, buffet JDdollers £50 for two was amazing with loads of choice and something for everyone. However our room, number 12 was sad! The chair had the top layer of plastic peeling off, the outside chairs both had broken slats with one missing a cushion, the floor lamp did not work, the lighting with all other lights on was poor, the air conditioning very noisey (had to turn it off at night) and the room key kept having to be reset as we would get back and find it failing to work again! Despite this we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the access to the Dead Sea with beach front warm showers to use after each dip. Also enjoyed the spa with a massage in a relaxing setting.
The rooms were nice, and a good size, we had a lovely balcony that overlooked the pool. However, it was impossible to relax at the pool because there are so many flies. The hotel needs to invest some money into fly traps to get rid of the flies because they just land on you constantly, or on your drink etc., its awful. The worse thing about this hotel is the food, there is a lack of choice to start with, the buffet is truly awful, flies touching the food etc., and lots of cheap food available. The other restaurant only has a limited menu, and the hotel charges high end prices for CHEAP inedible food. I also had trouble calling room service, on my first day I ordered lunch to the room which didn't turn up, I called nearly an hour later to find out where my food was to be told in a huffy manner that they would send someone. I had to call room service again the next day to chase someone to clean our room, again they never turned up and I had to chase again.
Being an IHG member, I usually prefer Holiday Inn. It was one of the best experiences in Holiday Inn deadsea resort. We stayed here for a day (2nd to 3rd of October). It was fantastic. The receptionist was kind enough in providing us a pool view room though we have booked for a room with out any view (as she mentioned). Food was nice and even the service (though it was a little slow as the guy got confused with the room). Rooms are very clean and even the bathrooms. Belly dancing performances were also amazing. Overall, a great deal! Value for money.
I've been in so many hotels around the world, including Jordan. This hotel has very nice staff, in fact one of the best, pools were very nice too, and location was awesome. However, the rooms were old but okay. The worst thing was food, it is literally a rip off. We paid JD 50 ($70) for dinner buffet for two and we thought it is worth it as there was a barbecue and many other food. We picked the food and headed to the barbeque to find that they are doing wings and terrible kabob made from cheap meat. TRY NOT TO EAT THERE OR AT LEAST DO NOT USE THE BUFFET.
Me and my cousin always stay at this hotel, its very friendly and clean. the staff are very helpful and always smiling to the guests and never hesitate to help when requested. food is good the sit menu is perfect, the entertainment team are nice specially the belly dancer :D we enjoy staying at HolidayInn every time

This is a well designed and comfortable hotel with a very good location next the the Dead Sea. The views are amazing! It is set out like a small village, sloping gently down to the sea. I had a pool view room that was very clean and well equipped. The WiFi was free and there was good coverage throughout the complex. The contents of the minibar were all free (non alcoholic). There are 5 or 6 separate swimming pools, all equipped with comfortable sunbeds and parasols. There are separate children's play pools and other play areas staffed with friendly young staff to entertain them. There were lifeguards in attendance at all of the pools. One of the highlights was the small beach adjoining the Dead Sea where you can float in the warm waters and apply lashings of medicinal mud - good for the skin! The food was good. The breakfast room was busy but the service was extremely friendly and brisk. The food selection was excellent and I particularly liked Mohammed, the chef on the egg station who could produce several excellent omelettes simultaneously. In the evening this room doubled as a buffet style restaurant where the food choice was plentiful at a reasonable price. I used the A la carte restaurant which I enjoyed very much. Ruby gave me excellent service here. I enjoyed the al fresco bar, where an energetic belly dancer performed twice during the evening and a DJ played a wide range of music throughout the evening. I found the staff very polite and helpful at all times, without exception. I recommend this hotel as a good value holiday resort.

I went to this hotel with my family on 9/21/17 through 9/22/17 in room 162 164 and 165 and we had a very unpleasant experience to say the least. There was a lizard in our room. There was very poor reception. Our television was not working. Our bathroom had shampoo but it was an empty bottle. Overall me and my family did not have a very pleasant time and we would not recommend this hotel.
