This time I stayed here for seven days after being forced out of my apartment, and the employees were very helpful and friendly. They continuously offered assistance when it was needed, and the room was very clean. However, the hotel needs to give extended guests more than one time to have housecleaning enter the room. I still recommend this hotel to all travelers.
Spent 1 week at the Ibis Suwon & can say that it was a very comfortable experience. It's essentially a budget hotel but has a decent room layout, good wi-fi, nice breakfast & is centrally located in Suwon. Staff were very helpful & friendly.
Memorable 3 nights stay over the new year. Early arrival at Incheon, Airport bus no. 4100 straight to hotel door step - allowed early check in due to Accor silver membership status. Enjoyed daily Korean hot bath (B1 level) -need to get key from front desk and return after usage. Two different brands of Korean body lotion was provided - that is very thoughtful. Breakfast spread was good. Meals - tried the famous Bonsuwon Galbi Beef (on the costly side), All-you-can-eat Pork BBQ and Traditional korean Hyejangguk (Beef bone soup with rice) at a simple old building (open24hrs) just behind the hotel. Family Short Trips from Hotel (help from email replies from Hotel Reservations & Front office staff) was great too - Samsung Innovative Museum 1 hr English tour, Suwon City Tour with English Audio guide and the Korean Folk Village (with Sleighing). Filtered Water Dispenser, Microwave and Massage chair on each floor. Thank you for making the effort. We bring back many happy memories.
This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Korea, and it's very easy to find. The staff is extremely helpful to its patrons or people needing directions. The rooms are very clean and service is excellent. It's an amazing place to stay, and it's conveniently located to travel around the area. I recommend it for long term and short term stays.
For what I needed for the weekend it was a great hotel. It was convenient to one of the subway lines for getting and also Homeplus was nearby Nice bed..very clean washroom..comes with hairdryer Starbucks in the lobby I would recommend
Very nice and relaxing place to stay. Good food with plenty choiches Also cleaniness is very good Lovely place. Room very nice but a little bit dark maybe could be better tp have more light in the room Recommended if you are in thr nearby of suwon
We stayed here during an overnight visit to Suwon to see Hwaseong, a World Heritag-listed fortress, said to be the main reason why tourists visit the area. It was curious as the front desk staff did not seem to know anything about it; what time it opens and closes, how to best get there. They also were not as friendly as other Ibis hotels we stayed at while in Korea. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with a small fridge and a very nice toilet/bathroom. The bed is very comfortable but the WIFI was slow and spotty, compared to Seoul or Busan. The Starbucks at the first floor is very convenient but GROSSLY overpriced, charging 6500 wons for a cup of Sumatran coffee.
There are not many good hotel to stay in Suwon area, But Ibis is something you ll feel comfortable, rooms are very small and old, but still hold the beauty, From window, see the beautiful Suwon city, Place is well connected from public transport, and you can call a taxi any time. I love the area and surroundings only the thing is which i do not like was toiletries, missing tooth brush, paste and shaving kit, Be there on business trip, with all items missing, was difficult, But you have vending machine for small items.
It is hard to find a hotel to enough stay except Seoul. There are few hotels to stay comfortably in countryside of Korea. It is no exception in Suwon city, though just south of Seoul. Ibis suwon, however, is Ok to stay! Fresh salads on morning dish, clean rooms. Nearest chicken and beer restaurant is also recommended for your after biz hour. One thing, this hotel is not at city centre. It means you need to use taxi, you need to know the risk to use.
I stayed here during my last trip with Korean Tourism, the hotel located in the great area. Near to shopping complex, karaoke, pubs, they also had starbucks at the lobby. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are ok, not too big. The bathroom was super compact. We was trapped in emergency stairs because it can only be opened from one side. Aside of that everything was pretty good. I think it was ok for the amount of money that you spend considering the location. But if you expecting big room and bathtub then this hotel isnot for you
