The room I was in an a nice view of downtown and broadway,but the room itself was pretty poor and needs updating and cleanliness. The ottoman was stained, the walls were srarting to crack and peel in spots and there was dust all over the leather couch. I was alsontold that the pool was heated fornyear round use and that was far from the truth. Thank god ive done the polor bear plunge before. I would also like to add that after paying through hotels.com that the Hyatt sent me a separate bill trying to charge me the same taxes I had already paid.

Overall, the stay was great. However, I literally brought my new bride in for check in (yes, we were both still decked out), and the receptionist was very lukewarm, which was kind of disappointing. You’d think they’re paid enough to at least pretend to be excited for newly married guests. Pretty lackluster in terms of service/staff. Nice building & great location though.
