Warm,cozy, friendly,clean and welcoming. This cabin was perfect for a ‘Girls’ weekend. Two wonderful walking paths near cabin. Two horses that loved our attention. Views from every window that made you thankful for the beauty of autumn, and Cumberland Falls just down the road. Life couldn’t be better!

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this place is perfect with so much balcony space. We probably enjoyed the fire pit with readily available firewood the most. I think we had a fire almost every night. It’s a beautiful cabin.

Wonderful Cabin for a peaceful/relaxing weekend getaway! Celebrated 30 years together! This Cabin was in a private spot within The Bear Creek Resort. It was serene! Tucked away in the woods with trails right outside the door. Close to Big South Fork Park! The Host was very timely with responses and everything at the Cabin was perfect! We definitely will be back for another visit! Added bonus was feeding the horses treats from the treat jar! We loved our stay!!

The cabin has great privacy and views. It is only 15-20 minutes from the Yahoo Falls and Blue Heron trail heads. Me and my son had a great time. My son loved giving Winston and Majic treats. We have 2 Newfoundland’s at home and he jokingly looked at me every morning and said “I’m going to give the dogs a treat”. We made some great memories on our trip and we are planning on returning in the spring with the whole family.

We absolutely loved it. The place is beautiful & clean the Host was amazing. I could take my dog. You can’t see any of the other cabins from yours so it’s very private. There’s horses right next-door to feed. It has the most beautiful decks. Wow what a place we will definitely be back. I give it a big 10.

Girls weekend, meeting from different states. It was perfect! It rained all day the day we had, but we were still able to sit outside on the covered porch. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dishes as noted. The bedrooms upstairs have they're own balconies for a little private getaway if needed. It was so peaceful, I can't say enough good things about this property. Thank you Kim!

Girls Getaway Weekend

It is a great house with all the amenities we expected. A bit further out than we expected but that gave us a lot of privacy. Horses were a plus and host provides treats for them. Went on the coal train trip and to Cumberland Falls. The younger women went on a hike but I stayed in the car with the A/C on - 80 year olds don’t hike. LOL

Cozy cabin

The cabin was beautiful, cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed eating outside with a view of the forest! My 4 yr old granddaughter loved the horses. She visited them several times a day! We loved our stay and will be back in the future. We went to the Cumberland falls approx 45 mins away. Beautiful nature.

Great getaway

We have adult children and wanted to visit Cumberland falls and hike some. Thus the perfect cabin for it. We all had plenty of room and our favorite thing was the horses literally next door. We consistently went over to pet them and give them some treats. There are plenty of trails to walk and only a 40 minute drive to Cumberland Falls! Another great asset is, everyone had a balcony to enjoy the woodsy view. We spent time inside and outside just playing cards, games, or napping;). Great weekend!!

We had a wonderful time! The host was very responsive to any questions we had. I was impressed with how well supplied the cabin was. There was so much to do in the area. Wonderful winter weekend!

The property is beautifully situtated on the edge of the woods. The firepit is incredible and Kim had it fully stocked with wood. Sitting in the snow in those beautiful surroundings make for an incredible trip.
