Spent one night at familyroom. Room was large and tidy. Only pillows could be better. Easy trafic connections and shopping mall very near. Hotel breakfast could be a bit better. It was average and ok, but could be more.
Stayed in Sweden during late May for the Europa Cup Final. The hotel is pleasant enough, quite basic rooms and bathroom facilities but had everything I needed. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection each morning to get me set up for the day. The hotel is a short bus ride from Slussen (10 mins) or you can walk which takes about 35 mins. We got a travel pass and could jump on any bus or get the train from Sickla. It's easy to get from Central Stockholm to the hotel even late at night. The hotel has a decent bar, though with most places in Stockholm it is quite expensive. They also stop serving at 2am. Staff were friendly enough during our stay.
We attended Bruno Mars concert in Stockholm, all the hotel that close to the arena were fully booked. Luckily, we found out a hotel that same closely to the arena, its very accessible to the place! We loved our room stayed and the breakfast was awesome! The bubble pool and sauna made our day too. Housekeeping made us welcome too. All the staff were friendly and very helpful! We had a great stay! Good job 👏
Clarion hotell nacka This hotel cannot be described in a lot of positive terms. When my boyfriend and I got here, we got a pretty neat and tidy, even pretty room. The view was really bad, but not the biggest problem. The problem with the room was the barking dog in the room next door, a dog we heard as good as if it was in our room(doesn't speak well for the isolation). Further, when we complained(my boyfriend is also allergic, so it wasn't just the notice that was a problem), we were told to tell the owners about the problem, they did not lift a finger. We did get another room, and had to take it to get maybe a nights sleep. Our new room was in the old part of the hotel, the room had lots of problems. First off, which I mostly find a bit ironic; the room was made for a person in a wheel chair, but decorated with a sports theme(floorball). Not really a problem, but the decoration was tacky to say the least. And next, over to bigger problems with the room; the bedding was dirty, the towels was dirty, there was brown hair everywhere in the shower drain and on the towels, the lighting in the room is not good and when I went to wash my hands and turned up the pressure of the water, I could rip off the knob on the sink. So yes, we did get the choice of a new room that we had to take, but it was a much worse room from the pretty, modern room with an iron and a real shower without shower curtains that cling to your legs (one of the worst feelings ever, no one can disagree on that). When mentioning this to the staff, we got back that they couldn't do anything, and they again asked if we had talked to the person with the barking dog. I do not see this as our problem to take care off, but the staff should really have handled that in a professional way. Further, when told about the dirty sheets, the girl behind the counter did fix new ones, that we had to carry up to our room from the desk. Found that a bit weird, other times I have heard about this, they actually go up and check it, and fixes it for you, but this hotel might have a "fix it yourself" policy it seems. For our complaint about the bad shape of the room, we got a 125 kr voucher to use in the bar. This was all she could do. And we spent over 3500 kr on our stay. This means all she could do was to give us 1/28 part of the stay back, and nothing more. Or pay 1/7 of one of our 4 day stay. This is, we realize, better than nothing, but it is pretty close to it. In this case we both agree that they should have given us a better room in stead of a worse, or give us the worse room for less than we had to pay for the modern room. There isn't just bad things to say about this hotel, some of the personnel seems good, and the breakfast is not the worst I have experienced.
Our room was large enough, for Europe. The location is so convenient as it is next to Sickla, with lots of shops and restaurants. For us it was convenient as it is close to our family. The breakfasts have plenty of choices, fresh and delicious.
Nice hotel. Good for business. Rooms are extremely basic. Not refreshments or toiletries. There is a soap bottle in the shower and at the sink, that is all. Towels were tiny. I'm a small person and I needed 2 to wrap around me. The bed was somewhat comfortable, if not a bit soft for me but that is a personal thing. You can't please everyone. The location isn't great for sight seeing or anything worth looking at in walking distance. I stayed in room 522 and there was a view out over Nacka but just of buildings. Nothing picturesque like you would get further into Stockholm like Sodermalm and the like. It was a 40 minute cab ride into Stockholm to really get to the nicer areas it has to offer. Now for the good stuff. The facilities for conferences were very very good though with great, well equipped meeting rooms and spaces and great break areas where the food was very good and very fresh with a good selection available. The breakfast also offered a very good selection of food too and the coffee is nice also. Staff were all very nice and all spoke excellent English. I would stay here again for business but I do feel the price reflects the experience so I can say that I was not disappointed in my stay.
The hotel can certainly do with a renovation job. The bedroom that we had was for 4 people. However, there were only 2 sets of towels in the bathroom. There was no towel for the floor either. The room was not cleaned so thoroughly as there was a half eaten bag of peanut underneath the bunk bed.
Good hotel that is reasonably priced. A lot of meetings and convention activity here. The staff is very helpful including front desk, bar, and restaurant. Breakfast is included and good. Very close to the city center, an easy cab or bus ride.
I enjoyed everything about this place, reasonable rates , friendly staff and an amazing breakfast that is included . It is easy to get to using public transportation , so being outside of Stockholm city center is not a major issue .
Yellow and disgusting bedding should be changed with new ones. No water boilerplate. Breakfast is very good. Restaurant is big and nice with big windows. Bus station is just out side. Have kids corner.
