Not much to say about this hotel, it was just average, decent location, clean, nice staff. Rooms are smallish, beds were comfortable. The breakfast is the same thing every single day, could use some variety, but decent enough. In Stockholm you need to expect prices to be along the lines of Manhattan or San Francisco. Very annoying that for what you are paying, no wi fi in the rooms unless you pay extra, they force you to go down to their lobby to get a hot spot, I suspect the reason is to get you to either use their bar or restaurant. The dinner "special" they serve from 5-6PM is ok but there are other "lunch" alternatives on the avenues that are much better. Alcohol is heavily taxed and I was a bit put off that it costs more for an average beer ($10) than the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel has an arrangement with a fitness club just a very short 2 min walk from the front door. $11/use, but it is a good enough club and if you are trying to stay on your workout schedule, I definitely recommend it. There is a better fitness center called SATS about a block away but the cost rises to about $18/use. Excellent grocery store just down the block, about a 2 min walk. Probably a 5 min walk to the subway and a McDonalds. From the hotel to the Old City it is about a 20 minute walk, get directions to the ped friendly street, best way to walk there. It was about a 35 min walk to the Vasa museum. Having walked the city from the hotel, in hindsight, I would have purchased a week subway pass.
